Default Sp 9000, s03, or T1S?

Well I just purchased my 19x8.5 22F and 19x9.5 35R Te37's from Jeff at evolution.

Now I need to buy tires. I am mainly intrested in the Toyo T1S but I can not find where to buy them. Jeff gave me a website "treadetot.com" (anyone know the correct link?) and that link will not work for me.

What tires would you buy? Where? Price is important, but it must be a great tire and I am sure all three of these are great tires. I am told that the t1s and sp 9000 is lighter and that is also important.

I could get the s03 (not available right now) and the sp9000 from tirerack but can not find a good place for the t1s.

Sprry, this post is not very organized, not quite sure what I am trying to say.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jason

It's treadepot.com but the site seems to be down. Try www.1010tires.com for the T1S.

The tires you list are all very good. Don't worry about weight... you bought 19" wheels so you can't be too worried about weight or performance. I usualy buy tires from Tirerack... good prices and great service. I have bought wheel supplies from Discount Tire (www.tires.com) and had very good service.

Hope that helps....

I like the S-03 and T1-S, the T1-s is 4 lbs lighter per tire than the S-03's. Tirerack and Discount don't carry Toyo. The toyo's also have a higher tread wear rating (220 vs 280).

4 pounds is a lot!

Actually part of the reasons for getting TE37's were to keep weight down. I know I could have gotten some lighter 18's or something but I still want the car to look awesome.

I have to take exception to this, my 19" wheel and tires are lighter than my 18s were, and if I could get even lighter tires I would have. I went with Toyos b/c they are the lightest, that way I can go with a more aggressive looking 19" wheel and still have overall lighter rotational wt. Best of both worlds.

I put my Nismo 18s on Tuesday. Mounted Dunlop SP9000s on them. Cost from Discount Tire, $909 mounted, balanced, chrome valve stems and my favorite - SALES TAX. Tire prices before taxes were 245/40 - $194.00, 275/40 - $223.00. Remember that price includes mounting and balancing. Good deal I'd say. As far as handling goes, they're outstanding. The understear I had with the stock 18s (Michelin 225/45 and 245/45) seems to be gone. I'm happy with my choices.

BTW I ended up getting S03's. Could find ANYTHING! even tirerack did not have anything in stock. I had to get the rears and fronts at two diff shops.

Install tomorrow!

I am in the same boat as you guys as far as chosing which tires for my car, I wanted the t1s;s due to better treadwear but that was still undetermined, but I am getting the s03 tommorrow however due to a kick butt deal, buy2 get 2 free, its the cheapest I have seen them tires for...

BTW, now that my tires are getting worn in, they stick VERY well. Extreamly impressed! And they will only get better in the next few hundred miles.

Not to change the subject but I was wondering if anyone had looked @ the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's. Prices, weights, etc.?

Quick Reply: Sp 9000, s03, or T1S?
