Thanks Walt. It rained two days later and has been off and on ever since... I wiped my finger over one and the wax is definitely protecting them. Shopping around for a single turbo kit, front bumper, and coilovers now.

Sanding my wheels would scare the crap out of me. Get a big snail and be sure to get into the F/I arguments. hahaha

F/I is serious business.

I have a tip for you if you want to keep the lips looking fresh.

POR-15 has a 2-part clearcoat called Glisten PC that is meant for polished surfaces and chrome. I refinished a set of wheels a few years ago, coated the lips, and they look just as good now as they did when they were refinished.

Here's what they looked like before... LOT of corrosion on the lips.

After 150 grit

Lost the rest of the pics during the polishing stage, but here's the result after I used Glisten PC on the lips.

After 5 years, they STILL look like this.

I polished my old APS intercooler a few years ago. MAJOR pain in my ***. You really have to have a certain kind of patience and mindset to start a polishing project like this, and stick with it to the end. You have to be superhuman to do it x4!

My lips got jacked on a winter trip and the clear coat started peeling off, do any of you know of a chemical that would strip the clear off? i asked detailed image and he didnt know. I dont really have the time or want to sand them if i can avoid it at all. Any one with suggestions please PM me. Phreak are you sanding by hand? if so use a foam block or something under your paper or you'll leave groove marks from your fingers. How much time do you have in yours so far? Im sure im going to get stuck doing this if i dont sell my car first.
