The New Standard: Volk TE37SL "Super Lap"
My car is low, but certainly not "stanced." I use an 18x12 in back with a 315 (going to work the fenders again to get a 335 to fit). 18x11 and 315 on the front. The fenders on my car are worked over a bit (front and rear). Unless you are making a **** ton of power, you wouldn't want this set-up on track.
Damn. Your car looks pretty raw, like a T-bone steak, lol. What wheel setup are you running? I have been consider running agressive wheel setup with the TE37SL and beefy tires, but never think modified stock fenders would fit 12" with 335 tire would fit. Give us post for your new setup.
I use CCW's for the dry and Forgelines as wets. Also, the car is not tagged. It sees no street miles. I don't have a ton of deflection of the suspension. I run 1000-1200lb spring on front and 850-1100 in the back. It keeps the tires out of the fenders (for the most part).

what is this photowhoring of CCW in my Volk thread?! blasphemy!
jk
FYI, the TE37SL pictured with the Voltex red car is a standard SL color.
the latest TE37RT will only come in a dark Red until later next year then i think they will have more color options. the widest the SL and RT will go is 18x11....

Are those ccw the classics or LM20 series? I am in debating running the TE37SL or the ccw LM20 or the SP18 or SP20 wheels setup to both run on track and on street. They both are light, strong and look good. I am in the process build my car for full track purpose, but at the same time I want to use the car to drive to track event and run on the street daily. How much is your ccw weight?
That spring rate setup you are running is pretty stiff. In term of kg mm, they would be 18-22k front and 16-20k rear. I am running a little softer at 12-14k front and 8-10k rear. What is the total jounce and droops of that setup? I might have to run a little stiffer when I am running wider wheel and stickier tires setup? However I won't be running at 12" with 335 like you, just 11" with 295. It goods to know someone can run that wide and still can make it fit.
Sorry about the off topic, OP.

And sorry jacking your thread earlier.
I have very little droop up front and the rears are about an inch shorter than stock. You won't need to run anywhere near the spring I do. Again my car sees 0 street miles. It lives on the trailer or in the garage. Second, you won't ever run anything NEAR as sticky as an A compound Hoosier on the street. The wheels are CCW Classics (Race Version).

Hey Justin, so they are in press graphite, right? I have never see any of the TE37SL in person. How much different in color shade between the standard, black edition and the diamond black? I want the shinny black racing look. I know both the SL and the RT series offer up the 11", but the RT offers lower offset in 10", 10.5" and 11". Are there any weight and strength different between them?
And sorry jacking your thread earlier.

the standard SL color is more of a sparkly light grey color with polished lip.
the black edition, what i would describe as, is a black clear coat on top of dark base coat.. it a shimmery black. the diamond black (vivid racing exclusive) is the normal diamond black color that rays makes. the RT is a dark dark red.
weight on the SL and RT are supposedly the same, with slight advantage to the RT for strength. the RT also has ribbing for tire mounting to prevent tire slippage due to high HP applications..
