they actually are quite a bit less actually - thing is, the pricing structure has changed for Volks as of a couple months ago, so the heavy discounts just are not there anymore

MSRP on a set of 18x9.5, 18x10.5 standard color (white or bronze) TE37 is $3560.00 just for comparison sake

Man that red spoke just kills it. If it had as many spokes as the CE28's a single red spoke woudlnt look so bad.

If it came in a regular plain finish that would be sweeeet.

I've been talking to Vividracing about these wheels.

Can you guys believe that the CE28s are even lighter than these!?!

It was a toss up between the two but I choose the SLs instead (even though they look and are about the same as my LMGT4s).

sweet sweet!! thanks for the pics...

the few shots I do get of them makes me more and more confident about my decision. Originally I got a steal (3k w/ Ventus V12s) on the BBS RGRs from Tire Rack but after months of waiting and being told BBS was having problems w/ their Diamond Black finish & wouldn't be offering it for the foreseeable I started re-looking @ Volks. Finally pulled the trigger and I just ordered up some 19" SLs last week; 9.5 & 10.5 +22 all around. Can't wait to actually see them in person though. I hear pictures don't nearly do these wheels any justice. Too bad they'll be here for Christmas and my Z won't roll out of storage till April 1st weather permitting.

as for the red stickers... yeah that kinda kills em for me. I'm tempted to buy some standard TE37 stickers but $25 a wheel? That's just a bit much for a few stickers. I'll take a look & either rock the SL sticker or run em plain. Chances are I'll slap that Volk billboard on my SL's though.

edit:
as someone else mentioned, these are actually a little cheaper than the TE37s. they were about $250 less than the best price I could find on a custom order of TE's. Not a fan of black wheels & you can't Volks Diamond Black so sided w/ the SLs. I shopped around hitting up anyone online I Could. Plus factor in the fact you don't have to buy center caps for the SL's it makes them even a little more cheaper.

they're in production right now apparently... when I was looking for pics of the SLs I came across an ad stating 19" Originally I had thrown the SLs out because they weren't available in 19" When someone told me to reconsider them low and behold I stumble across this. Perfect timing.

I prepare Z for track, so i decided that '19 will be much havy and too big for slickz, so '18 iz my size. What about watings, order times, sure it takes long sometimes, but it worth it My Z is going for winter sleep also)

Ou, thanx, now i see, yes when they first come out, they only had '18 max.
Whant to see them on your ride, i will place my picz when i will put em on, waiting for my Body kit .) and Brake kit also) then our Canon Mark2 5D will do some nice job)))

To run a 295 or 305 tire up there.

If it's just for track, why did you put a 255 on a 10" wheel and a 275 on a 11" wheel? Not saying that it doesn't work or won't look good, but you could have gotten away with the lighter 18x9 / 18x9.5" set-up with those tire sizes. Personally, I'd go with the 18x10x4 with 285/30 or 295/30 tires at all four corners.

There's always a balance of looks and weight for a street/track car, so I understand!

I am a moderator, but I can't help much with your avatar. If you do qualify for your own avatar, it needs to fit within the size/kb requirements. Cheers.

So, from Atech's pics, it looks like that ugly red sticker is user-applied? Nice. These would look great on my carbon silver '08, but that red spoke thing just killed it for me. Can the OEM TPMS be used with these?
