Default Anyone with 17"/18" set-up??

Im buying a set of rpf1s in 17x9.5 +18 F and 18x10.5 +15 R. Just wondering what the best tires for the front would be without rubbing and if there will be any BBK issues with the front?. Plan on going with 275/40/18 on the rear. This is my DD so i dont want to roll fenders or adjust the camber.

Also if you have a similair set up post a pic. thanks.

Why would you not have the same size rims? Staggered setup means the tire width not the diameter. Everything else should be fine.

My vote would be 275/40-17 295/35-18.

I have 275/40 on a 17 X 9 +30 and the outside clearance is ridiculous, so even with your more aggressive fitment, I want to say you'll be fine. With my size I clear the control arm by a mm, but you won't have to worry about that.

Are you lowered?
Edit: I just bought some RPF'1 in 18x9.5+15 and 18x10.5+15 with 245/40/18 and 275/40/18. Im going to be lowered on Tanabe GF210's... I'll let you know if I rub in about a week or two

Here is my 17/18 that I used a while back... IMO, it was the best feeling/performing setup I had... 245/45/17 - 275/40/18... The sizes are a little off, but I have a base model so I didn't have any problems with it...

265/40/17 on the front and 285/35/18.... i think a 40 series on the back would be huge...up to you, if you wana fill the gap

why dont you use a tire size calculator?
go to "1010tires .com" and use theirs...

because im trying to see what kind of experience others have had with a similair setup.. obviously 1010tires doesnt know if you're lowered and if the tire will rub or not... it will just tell you if the diameter and size compared to stock.

since you are going with 17/18 40 profile is going to be way to big. You need to go with 30 or 35 at the biggest.

Well, in the pic I posted above, the specs were:

Lowered 1" Fenders NOT rolled

front: 17x9 +10 245/45/17

rear: 18x9.5 +5 275/40/18

I've been running 275/40-17 on a 17x9 +17 for the past couple weeks, great setup. My new track setup is 275/40-17 front and 275/40-18 rear.
