Default XXR 526 help

I am planning on ordering the xxr 526 rims 18x10.5 +20. I am dropped on Hotchkis springs. What is the best tire size to run and to be flush do I need spacers? Thanks in advance

seems like 265/35/18 is popular with these wheels... Will a 35 sidewall give me too much wheel gap? Should I do 40 or will I rub? Thanks for the help!

Of course,just my opinion...
First,I think its gonna be one of those."wish I had went with the....after you bought it" situations.I'd go with at least a 19".They look the best on a Z.However,I believe the XXR 526 does not come in a 19" size. This is cheap wheel. They do offer a deep dish, polished rim...."fits all" bolt pattern"(cheap).
Maybe spend more upfront than the $150 these wheels sell for...look at some other rims.
If you do go with 18's,the 40 series tire will be a disaster. The 35,with your drop, almost as bad.
Think this thing through before you order.
You will be satisfied in the long run!

I plan on getting the 526 18x10.5 all around. Will I have to roll my fenders? Also I want to look aggressive so should I stagger my tire sizes? If so what should I go with? I don't like when the rims stick out more than the tire. I have read through the entire thread but still am unclear on some stuff. Thanks guys

For 10.5 inch wheel figure 265 to 295 mm tires. Whichever best suits your needs.

+100... I have a 275/30/19 Evo V12's on 19x10.5 VSXX and you'd need to roll to fit it on MY particular drop.

Would 265/35 all around look terrible? And would I have to roll?

Here is a useful tire size calculator:
Shows comparisons and you can show pics as well.

http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

I in order to keep the same stagger (if you have VDC) and not have the wheel gap as well, I would suggest 255/40/18 up front and 275/40/18 rear.
The 255 will only slightly stretch, since it's approved for rims up to 10" width and that shouldn't be a problem. Plug those into the calculator and compare them to stock diam..almost exactly the same front and rear.

i think that you're going to need some tuner/spline lugs. same ones you see at your local autozone.

the lug nut holes look kind of slim and from my experience with xxr wheels on my GF's car...the muteki open ended lugs were too fat for the hole.

and blue lugs look okay. if you have nothing else to flow with the blue lugs...they can stand out...and might look wack. i prefer black lugs.
