Define hellaflush.....? If youre goin that route you will need more than a hotchkis drop. With what youve mentioned it will fall along the lines of "aggressive fitment and moderately lowered" which isnt a bad thing!

if ur trying to eliminate the wheel gap.....trust me...just buy coilovers. If u buy your wheels now with your present drop...i can almost guarantee you will not like it. fronts will definately stick out past the fender and will prolly have wheel gap.

I don't mind if my rears stick out but fronts... eh not really feelin that. I was hoping my fronts would be flush with the fenders from a head to toe shot if that makes sense. And my rears would be slightly poked with the 20mm spacer bringing the offset to 0.
My current set up is sure to get some laughs so I will share it but please don't flame me. I didn't know what I was doing and did not want to upgrade my tires at the time.
Enkei J10 17x7 +38
225/50 front 235/50 rear (stock tire sizes)
30mm spacer front 38mm spacer rear
effective offset +8 front 0 rear

opinions???
So either way I'm going to get the 526's. I have been thinking about it and am debating on getting the 20's. I know all the downfalls about weight and tire size and all that but I wanted some opinions from you guys on if you think they would look to big. Below is a pic with my old 18's and its lowered another 1/2 inch or so now. How do you guys think it would look? Thanks

heres a pic of my car with my GF's 527's LOL.
threw them on for a day for ***** and gigs b/c i wanted to see what they looked like on the Z.
specs. 18x8.75 +20 with 225/40/18 all around. 38mm spacer rear and 25mm up front.
so -18 rears and -5 fronts.
now...i know they are the wrong sizes...but they were coming off a civic. i didn't think the car looked bad....it would probably look even better with the 18x9.75 and a 25mm spacer in the rear with a 275-285 tire in the rear.
but heres a pic just to get an idea of what they look like on a redline Z.
