and blue lugs look okay. if you have nothing else to flow with the blue lugs...they can stand out...and might look wack. i prefer black lugs.
thanks for the input man I am going black and keeping it clean. can anyone who have 18x10.5 xxr 526 post pics please thanks

like BSERIEuS said, use tuner/spline lugs
im personally using muteki lugs open ends with mine, should be similiar to slim spline or gorilla style lugs.

KTran are you running the same size tires and offset as you were in the last set of pics? Those tires look newer. Will be doing 18x10.5 on all four corners pretty soon as drift spares. More pics!

they're same spacer setup, same wheels but up front is a different pair and you're right, the front tires are new, 245/40/18 on 10.5 width.

i caught 2 blowouts on my other tires/wheels, shetty old 235/45/18s(my fault).

Nice setup KTran, how are the wheels holding up? Many say they're cheap are will bend at nothing even if they didn't own any. I thought about the 526 because in my area they're much easier to get in case one bends compared to volk, work, etc.

I had XXRs on my 350Z. They went through some of NYC's most beautiful bumps and potholes without an issue. And they were lightweight - 22lbs each. I had the XXR 518s in 18x8.5 all around.

Thanks for the post Arnold. I live in the province of Quebec in Canada and we are popular for having some of the worst roads (or simply the worst) in North America. I thought about the 20's and getting a N2 front with Ings sides and rear. I think i'll get them painted silver or hyperblack. Can't wait to get all the parts this winter

For anyone who buys XXR 522's for the Z, they take a hub centric size of:
66.1 inner
73.1 outer

I bought them from NLMotoring, they were very helpful. I paid $3.99 a piece, so $16.00 total. It definitely helped with the vibration in the steering wheel. If you have questions, you can PM me. Love my XXR's though, great rims.

Will 265/40 square set up work with 18x10.5 +20? I want a square set up so I can rotate my tires. I plan on using a 15mm spacer in the rear just to help with the slightly poke look. I just don't want to rub up front. I am dropped on Hotchkis. Thanks for the input I really appreciate it

Do your fronts rub? I was thinking about getting these and using a 20mm space up front.

im a big wheel noob.. anyways im looking at getting 521's now.. not varrstoens. they've grown on me.

i wanna go
F 18x8.5 +25 (add 15 mm spacers)
R 18x10 +25 (add 15 mm spacers)

1. will this sit flush?
2. would you recommend diff size spacers?
3. would i need a roll and/or pull since spacers are being added?

thanks, also im lowered on gf210's (1.0"/1.2")

stupid question but bear with me... If I run a square set up 265/40 with 18x10.5 +20 wheels, can I run a 20 mm spacer in the rear without rubbing or would I have to roll my fenders? Also would that be equivalent to having a 285 rear tire? Thanks guys

from what i've gathered through the years, i've seen people run 265/35 all around. even 275/35 and 285/35.

why the 40 series sidewall?

anyways, if you go that route, the only way it will rub is if you're super super low.

not sure if you mentioned what your suspension set up is...but if its just on springs...i doubt it will rub. you'll eventually want to go lower....so you might as well roll those fenders! better safe than sorry....AMIRITE?

haha yes you are. but the 40 profile is to fill the fender gap. I am dropped on Hotchkis which is not very low, so to get as flush as possible I need the 40 instead of the 35.

F 18x8.5 +25
R 18x10 +25

225/45/18
245/45/18

with 15mm spacers all around sit flush? would any roll be required you think?

thinking about getting them in the gunmetal.. they're growing on me.

^ dont do 8.5

get 18x10 all around

20mm spacer front 30mm rear

235/40 front
245/40 rear

no rolling required, maybe a little if you slam the rear.

i've thought about that but i like having staggered wheels. but i mean idk yet. what are the pros and cons of doing a square setup? btw im lowered on tanabe springs. so only about a 1" drop fr/rear.

pro's: you can rotate them

con's: none, 8.5 rims are useless if you plan on stretching tires on a z

trust me, just get 18x10 all around, you will be pleased
