Are the tires mounted on the rims? If so, just take them home, jack up your car and put them on the car. If they rub, get spacers. That should resolve your problem.

That's just it... they didn't mount the tires. I'm doing the whole thing with swapping out the pressure sensors because I don't want to be staring at an orange light all the time. And I think they didn't mount them in case I needed to return them? (which I don't think I can do anyway) This is just becoming more of a pain than I had imagined. The place I bought them from was almost 100% sure they've done the exact same setup on a Z before and it fit no problem.

Just for kicks I redid all my measurements and stuff... the offset calculator says the wheel will have 16mm less clearance in the back. I don't have any metric measuring tools handy so it converts to about 0.63 inches... and just for a little more piece of mind (in case the tire is wider than the rim) I went up to 3/4 of an inch. Cut a piece of cardboard to size and stuck my scrawny *** hand back in there (didn't know if jacking up the car would give more or less room behind the wheel or not) and from the wheel all the way to the top of the tire there would still be some wiggle room between the tire and that arm. So now I'm just aggravated and think you guys are right about them not wanting to deal with a custom setup.

Tire Rack and Discount Tire recommend installers for their wheels. Does the seller of your wheels have any recommendations in your area?

Not sure... I made a couple calls earlier this afternoon and got referred to a guy that works at a shop about 10 miles from here. So I'll call them on Monday.

I've mounted 9.5 +35 up front with 275's no prob . I've also run 10.5 +30 rear without problem. Just mount your tires and install. If you decide on spacer get the slip on style, 10mm is fine, don't bother with the bolt on crap.

Thank you all for your help and reassurance. The wheels fit fine... the guy at the other shop was clearly just a toolbox... and I think he owes me a free alignment now! I'll take a better shot after I get it all cleaned up, but it's getting dark now so it'll have to wait.

^^ Looks nice! I like the black spokes with a polished rim.

Some here might suggest a drop, but you're in PA where riding a little higher might be better for street driving.

Sorry it took so long... been trying to get a hold of my cousin because he has a really nice camera. These are just with my old digital camera. I'm going back to the first shop tomorrow hopefully to make an *** out of somebody.
