Yes!

Keep in mind they won't have the grip of a DOT race tire like the R888 or NT01, but for a pure street tire, this is as good as it gets, and pretty darn close.

Prob the closest to a track tire they make that can be driven on the street. Great tire to have!

for my 18 x 9.5 +12 front and 18 x 10.5 +15 rear... would the 265/40 F and 275/40 R be the ideal sizes??

thanks!

p.s. im currently running T1Rs in 255/35 F and 285/35 R... no rubbing... Two track days so far and im pretty happy with them (for being a street tire and all), but def want to switch to something much stickier for the next track day..

Sorry for bumping an old thread but has any other tires came out since 2010 that can compete with this tire?

I'm looking for good mountain carving tires, that good in the wet and still has good tire wear.

^ thxs. But it doesn't look like they have the size I thought about getting.

I currently have 245/40 on a 9.5 +12 and 275/40 on a 10 +12 and was gonna go 35 series in the same width.

Looks like I would have to go 255/35 and 285/35. Thoughts on this size with my current wheel specs?

EDIT- looks like the widest the have in 35 series is 265 :-(. May have to go with 40 series and man didn't realize a set of 18s would b over $1000.

Here is what my car looks like now

That's a shame... RE-11s are seriously awesome. Keep in mind though that these run a bit wide. They'll probably fit larger than a typical tire like a Hankook Ventus V12 or something.

I wish I would have seen this review before I bought my Ventus V12 Evos. I like them very much but it seems like you're more than satisfied with these - which seems like a difficult thing to come by in tire reviews.

Gives me a reason to run through the Hankook's faster

The Bridgestones are in a separate class compared to the Hankooks in my opinion. Hankooks are great daily driven tires, that offer good performance, noise, etc. for the average driver. They leave a bit to be desired though when pushed hard, and the RE-11 fills that void.

I have two sets of Toyo T1R's, one set is getting close to needing to be replaced and the RE11's are the tires I've had my eye on. The feedback on these is that they're nothing but amazing.
