Anytime man, 23.75 to the ground is no joke. Unfortunately i switched out my wheels because i'll be putting the car up for a bit because i'm going away for a while, but i'll be ordering a ton of parts over the winter..i'd like to set the car up so I can hopefully attend some club loose events.

I'm sure ill see you around though i'm thinking of throwing the wheels back on there and driving down to h20i in september with my brothers bagged r32 just for the hell of it.

If you are a regular on this forum you should know that it is pretty much common knowledge that the best wheels Nissan ever put on Z were the Rays they put on the 2006 Grand Touring model. They will cost you $400 a wheel new or $350 for reconditioned ones, but it's well worth it. You'll have to pay extra for the Brembos!

Default VarrsToen wheels question...

first off, let me tell you what wheels and specs i am hopefully looking to get.

VarrsToen Es 2.2.2

F 19x9.5 +12
R 19x10.5 +12

Tires

F 245/35/19
R 275/35/19

Ok, so i just got back from discounttire and the guy was quoting me on some tires, and i was telling him the specs on the wheels i was hoping to get (above) and he swears up and down that the offset is "too aggressive" and, in the long run, it will cause suspension problems. but i tried telling him that i have seen over 50 cars with these wheels and exact offsets before. he is telling me i should stagger the offsets as well, and go

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +12

So im not sure what to do, because i have seen pictures and in-person 350z's with the wheels on it. but he says it will not work.

Basically i want everything 100% flush.

**I am lowered on Tanabe GF210's as well (1.0"/1.2")

Alot of people have +12 front and rear. There are a good amount of people with +22 front and +12 rear too and it doesn't look bad at all. I don't see any major suspension problems coming from that offset other than the likelihood that you'll need a rear camber kit and front a-arms to prevent camber wear

Here's a visual of my car to help you out..

Front- 19x9.5+17 (245/35). You would be 5mm more aggressive than this.

Rear- 19X10.5+18 (275/35) You would be 6mm more aggressive than this.

I'm dropped on coilovers about the same as you in the front but most likely more in the rear. Try to visualize 5mm more aggressive in the front and 6mm more aggressive in the rear.

There won't be any suspension problems if you do it correctly. I don't know what that guy is talking about.. To make it work correctly you will need rear camber arms w/toe bolts, and possibly front arms to add the negative camber to make it work. Then get a proper alignment set the toe to 0 with the negative camber and your set.

+12 or +22 will be fine. +22 won't look sunk if you're worried about that and it'll make the rear look more aggressive imo. Suspension problems are not an issue each way
