Varrstoen Wheels Thread
I see on some people really think the Varrstoen wheels are a bad choice. I think the ES 2.2.1 wheels look great. But has anyone had a bad experience with these wheels in regards to cracking, breaking, finish or paint going bad, etc.?
I've had my es 2.2.1 for about 6 months now and I'm always parked outside because of my dad -__- but nothing bad happens to them
curious on the weight of the 20s as well.. not sure if i want to order the 20s or not, i have a spare set of tires for 20s... but i think 1.1.2 at 19x11 and zero offset will look sick w a giant spacer on my ride.
I've heard the finish on these wheels suck.
Compared to what? I'm not hating on you but understand that the finish on Varrs are no where near that of a Volk. I had an original set of Spoon SW388's after I was running a set of Rota Slips and the difference was huge. I thought my Slips were awesome until I compared the two. The finishes have been discussed here and how bad some of them are.

i dont think people have had problems with cracking or finish unless its the users fault, ex: driving recklessly or accidents, or spraying wheels with harsh chemicals which can cause problems to the finish. a lot of people have them for a reason, budget wheels and they look good for the money.
rattle can ( done correctly) will be more than fine for what i have planned..
and i like to think that what i plan....ahem.. is usually done pretty well.
I will attest to the fact that although the Varrstoen finish may be "nice".. its not the jewlery like perfection of a high end wheel...
but...
i dont want or need or really even like that fancy of a wheel.. so these will be just fine n dandy.
schweet.. now just get the damned things in stock already!
