I just bought a set of the ES2 18x9.5+12 and 18x10.5+12.

Now I need to get the tires. I'm planning on getting Hankook V12s.
I'm running stock suspension on my 05 350z.

What size tires do you guys recommend?

I've been told 245x40x18 in the fronts and 265x35x18 for the rears. Can I go 275 in the rears? Or is 265 good enough and won't require stretching the tire too much. Or is it safer to go with 265x35 and not have to roll my fenders?

I track the car occasionally, so I don't want to stretch the tires too much.

265/35 front and 285/35 rear , or more of a street setup 255/40 front and 275/40 setup. The person who gave you advice knows little about this car.

Looking for a quick response hopefully, on my g35 I have the es 2.2.2 19x9.5/11 ET 0 all around, on bc coils, spc camber kit, fenders rolled flat/slight pull. Right now I'm running 19x9.5/11 with 255/35 nankang NS-20(more like a 245 since it's narrow) and 275/35 nitto nt555 in the rear. I'm running -5.8 camber I'm the rear and still rub where the fender meets the bumper. I need to get a smaller tire in the rear so I don't rub it's chewing up the tire real bad on the outer edge.
Should I do a 255/35, 265/35 or do 275/30, tire dependent.
Here's what it looks like right now, I would like to have more stretch in the rear. Sorry for the big pics

Hi All,

I just ordered the following ES2's in a powder-coated textured matte anthracite finish and I was hoping I could get some quality input with which tire sizes to go with. I do not have brembos and I plan on lowering it in a few months too. Thanks!

Front: 19x 9.5 +30 offset (they were out of +22's so I might get 10mm spacers later)
Rear: 19x 10.5 +22 offset

Pics after they arrive

What do you guys think of white ES2's with Michelin Pilot Super Sports for a Black '03? Mostly street use, with the possibility of being tracked once or twice per year. Figured I'd go with terrasmak's street sizes at the top of the page, here.

I'll probably pull the trigger on this tomorrow, I think...

Anybody have any pictures of 19's rear, and 18's front?
I am thinking about running 18x10.5+15 front, 19x11+15 rear with 255/35/18 front, 275/35/19 rear.

It'd be the ES1 wheels.

Reason is i want to go lower in the front.

Any input would be great!

Default New Wheels Need Help

I am looking to get a set of new Varrstoen 350Z ES2 TE37 Replica Wheel Set - 19 Inch and I'm not sure what offset or width I should get. I want the wheels to be close to flush with my fenders and 1/4 panels but not enough to need them rolled. I also don't want flush or stretched tires.

19x9.5 +30 5x114.3
19x9.5 +22 5x114.3
19x9.5 +12 5x114.3
19x9.5 +0 5x114.3,
19x10 +25 5x114.3
19x10 +15 5x114.3
19x10.5 +30 5x114.3
19x10.5 +22 5x114.3
19x10.5 +12 5x114.3
19x11 +25 5x114.3
19x11 +15 5x114.3
19x11 +0 5x114.3

Those are the choices I have for sizes.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I've looked through the 86 pages of this thread and have found conflicting posts. I'm looking to get some ES221's, 18x9.5 +12, 18x10.5 +15. Thinking 245/40, 275/40, maybe 265/40 so the speedo is right on, but I'm not sure yet. I'll be at stock height and don't plan to lower. Will I need to roll fenders or no? I've seen people say they didn't need to, but others said they did. The listing says it's required as well. Thanks for any help.

Yes you'll want to roll fenders.

And for speedo to be as close as possible, you'll want 255/40 Front and 275/40 Rear.

At stock height? Damn. Then I guess what would be my best bet to avoid rolling? Would a +22 be fine?

Just roll them. It will be nice to have them rolled so you can have a better offset wheels and if you ever want to lower your car, you won't have to deal with it later. Plus, you guarantee that you won't rub on hard cornering, bumps and with a lot of weight in it.

+22 won't be as flush. You want +15. Just roll your fenders as mentioned above. Get it out of the way. Rent a tool and diy (take your time and it's not that bad), or pay somebody to do it.. usually not more than $40-50 per fender.

I run ES221 on my 05 Z with stock suspension with upgraded Akebono BBK.

Fronts: 18x9.5 +12
Rears: 18x10.5 +15

Tires:
245x40R18
265x40R18

Didn't need spacers or rolling of my fenders. Tire setup is close to stock so my speedo is pretty accurate.
