Varrstoen Wheels Thread
Ok, I might have ruined my rim according to the tire tech at sears? Going to have it looked at rim repair shop.
My current set up is varrstoen ES3 19x9.5 +22 offset front (245/35/19 tires)
the rears are 19x10.5 +20 offset with 275/35/19" tires.
Called Varrstoen for a replacement and they told me that the won't be getting any of the 19x9.5 +22 offset for a long time if ever? Sounds like they might be discontinued? They do have 19x9.5 +12 on sale, so i could buy a set.
My Q is, how funny Would it look to have +12 offset in the front with +20 offset in the rear? would I rub with 245/35/19 tires?
Thanks

As far as its appearance, I'm not sure if you know how insignificant of an amount 8mm is, but it will look fine.
How did you ruin your rim and why are you taking your car to SEARS???!!! Seriously, what the ****. Details.

We need to get VarrsToen to create black stickers in the 6" and 9".
I would love to put them on some hyperblack wheels. I have emailed them already, and they said they would consider it. Im sure if enough of us gave the idea they would do it!

I hit a pot hole! (crappy roads in Nj) I bought the tires at sears (great deal) I also bought the road hazzard warrenty which is a must here in NJ, so I'm getting a new tire for $22. The rim is "out of round" with a bent lip. I'm going to take it to a rim repair specialist and see if they can fix it.
i'm about to purchase the following for my 08 350z
varrstoen es2
front 19x9.5 +12
rear 19x11 +15
with 245/35 275/35 tires
my question is...I know i will have to roll my fenders but do i have to get a camber kit?
thanks!

If you roll your fenders flat you may be able to get away with not buying camber arms on a proper alignment. It will be close though.
Honestly camber arms aren't that expensive. Do you ever plan on lowering your car? If there's even a chance down the road that you're going to lower it, then I say you should get the camber arms while you're working on all that stuff anyways. Unless you're planning on saving until you get some coilovers, it would make more sense to just wait until you have springs and just throw it all on at once.
But if you're waiting coilovers then (from what I understand) camber arms aren't ABSOLUTELY necessary for stock height but they won't do any harm.

225/45 front and 245/45 rear is stock. For a 9.5 wide wheel you can get 255/40 front and 275/40 rears. Fronts will have a small stretch and rears will be pretty flush with the lip, maybe a little meaty.
