He may not even pass tech at a track, which could be an issue. (I wouldn't pass him) Safety is SERIOUS when it comes to racing. Sidewalls don't have treads for a reason. They are a component of the tire that is designed completely differently than that of the tread area and even the bead. Notice I sad "component" as even the composition of the rubbers are often different.

Driven1, you are absolutely correct. Most organizations will have a major issue with those stretched tires....I would think.

Sorry to bump this but did any notice they list bore sizes for S bodies and Z33s yet the pitch of the studs is 12x1.5...
