In the future you can always pick up a set of the 18 Touring wheels. They go for REAL cheap, I usually see them on CG for sometimes $200 for a set of 4. When I first got my Z it had the 17's. The week after I had the 18's on. The ride on the 18's is much much better, shorter sidewall, the 17's felt mushy.

Really? I'll look into them, but I might as well just get some nice aftermarket 18" rims rather than just the stock 18" Z Touring wheels. Thanks for the suggestion though bro!

Paint finish on the wheels turned out great.

Stock calipers painted bright colors just looks awful...period.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I appreciate it, anything I can do to remedy the calipers? Paint it a lesser noticeable different color?

maybe a some form of gray/charcoal color would make it standout less, however i think the rims turned out great! Spacers would make the whole setup look pretty good, as said above if i was you i would hunt for some touring 18"s though

Yeah, I would say gray or black calipers would be a nice subtle change.

Painted stock calipers just pop out at me for the wrong reasons. I think the caliper body is rather unattractive when compared to the body of stock Brembos or aftermarket BBKs, so bright colors makes them stand out through the wheel.

Wheels look nice!

Thanks a lot man! And yeah I really do want some spacers, I was looking into the Ichiba spacers since they seem to be in a good price range ($130 on Amazon I believe).

Yeah black would seem like a nice choice, I don't know when I'll be able to do that though since my friend won't have access to his garage for awhile... I do see where your coming from though, but it's not too bad in my opinion lol. And thanks so much!

It's pretty much self explanatory but I'll use the kid gloves with you since you want answers. The 350z calipers look like hemorrhoids with corn lodged in the middle so you don't want to do anything to attract attention to them. By you painting those abominations red you are just asking for people to mistake your car for a civic. Paint them black or some shade of gray and be done with it. As for the rattle can job, I think your wheels looked better stock but that's a personal preference so I wont' knock you for that.

I would suggest growing thick skin here (you seem to be faring pretty well so far) because we can be a tough crowd. Research the site and ask questions but more importantly, have fun.

Great job on the wheels!

the calipers being painted red is faking the funk, and you knew this...

paint them a dark grass so you at least have contrass, and if you do the same job on them as you did your wheels...your in for a treat....

Shoulda gone with some springs and 30mm spacers for the front and rear. That woulda set the car off a lot more.

Yes definetly invest in some spacers a.s.a.p.

The paint on the stock rim doenst look bad.

I wouldnt have painted my calipers red. Ive painted my calipers but I just painted them black which looks good in my opinion. If you going to paint your calipers either go with a black or just respray them silver.
