a noob could get scam lol.. A friend of mine send me the link telling me he was gonna buy some ce's for 900(he bought a Z 3 weeks ago). I asked for the link and got the ad. dunno if the seller bs my friend or what... Anyways, I found this really lame!!!
How is this an example of poor ethics? He clearly states what the wheels are in his ad.
Just poor judgement believing his sale would benefit from listing the authentic his replica is designed after in his headline.
Yeah, i guess.
It just kinda reminds me of the Bride Ebay ads where the whole ad leads ppl who dont know better to believe its the real deal, then states "Bride is registered trademark in Taiwan" or "Bride Taiwan, these seats are not made in Japan".
theres actually a member on here in the orlando section that try to pass off HP rims as Volk SF-Winnings on craigslist until i called him out on it in the orlando section. I had emailed him asking for pictures and he told me that he had lost the Volk center caps when his rims were stolen but he recovered the rims.
As far as the misleading ad title goes, while I agree that it's a n00b trap, anyone should know that you're not getting a complete set of 18" Volks for $900, even when cosmetic damage is involved, ESPECIALLY when there is a set of tires mounted on them.
I'd still flag the post though, because the title is false advertising.
