I've had my setup for years and now I would like to make it a little more aggressive. I'm interested in purchasing spacers to provide the look that I'm going for. My wheel and tire specs are below.

I would like recommendations on how aggressive I can go with this setup without having to sacrifice to much camber. I don't plan on changing my tire setup anytime soon either. I do have the rear spc toe bolt and arms installed on the z already. I do realize that I will have to roll my rear fenders with a more aggressive setup. I do have a concern though. I already rub a bit on the front on slight inclines, so will it be possible to have a more aggressive setup up front also. I imagine once I change the offset I will need to get an alignment again and possibly a front camber kit. thanks for your input, below is also a picture of how my car currently sits.

More pull. Fronts will rub reguardless when you turn. My fronts are 19x10 -10 with a 5" lip. so you I would recommend you to pull your fender or go with thinner tires and more negative camber. It's the price you pay to be flushed.

If you had the propere front tires you may not rub as much. try 245/30-20

 

Forgot to mention. 245 are to big for the fronts. Perhaps 225/35 or 215/35. Should help you a lot more.

 

Okay, I will try to go with a thinner tire when possible. How thick should I go with the spacers.

The 225/35 would probably work great, then mount the 245/35 tires on the back and space it out as you feel fit.

 

I agree!! He also could go with 235/35 in the rears.

Nope, that would be gay, never run a tire that is more narrow than stock. Its on the first few rules in tastefull modding

 

So, If I put the 245/35 tires on the back and bought 225/35's on the front with my particular setup, would that be a stretched look by any chance. Also, I'm trying to get an idea on the thickness of the spacers I would need. I don't mind pulling the fender but I am not interested in flaring out the fender such a 350zboi. Your car looks sick by the way 350zboi, so don't take that as criticism I just don't feel like messing with my fender to that extreme.

 

Don't go with that stretch look, looks terrible. If you want a more aggressive look, drop down to some 19s or 18s and put some 315s in the rear and 265s up front.

 

I would install the tires, yes they will be stretched, not crazy stpid stretch, but stretched. The measure. Just guessing, i would say 15 front 20 rear to achieve a 0 offset.

 

The only way to get more aggressive without modding the fenders extensively you would definitely need smaller tires and some camber. It will be a pretty moderate stretch with the tires your talking about now (compared to those in the aggressive/stretched thread).

Check out tyrestretch.com to see if they have any examples of what you are looking to do.

It would be best to buy the tires, mount them, and then decide what size spacer to get.

what would the maximum amount of camber you think is doable without going through tires like a maniac. I'm not to fond of going through tires every other month due to abnormal wear.

 

Camber doesn't wear tires abnormally, its the toe that is out of spec that does. Just make sure to go to a place that can align your car after you make the adjustments and set the camber to what you need to fit the wheels without rubbing and get the toe as close to zero as possible and you'll be good. Your going to need some rear camber arms at the least with toe bolts to do that. You can buy the front arms but they are more expensive.

 

not sure how aggressive and stretched you want but try this set up:

225/35 tire up front and a 255/30 in the rear

20-25mm spacers for the front and 15-20 for the rear

Adjust the camber to -2.5 front and -2 rear

Plus have your rear fenders rolled completely flat. Front ones need to be pinched flat as well.

Unfortunately you will go through tires much quicker than normal once you go with the aggressive stanced look so look for cheap ones

 

-2 will be fine with the mentioned tires and spacers, and won't kill your tires.

Yes camber does kill tires, just not as fast as toe.

 

I find that my alignment doesn't do much for tire wear, my right foot seems to have the most influence in how fast my tires wear...

 

Sorry to bud in on your thread but I had a question guys. I have Axxis wheels also but mine are 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 in the back, I currently have 235 35 on the front and I will be getting some new tires in the rear but wanted some meaty tires in the back. Can I put 285/30 or should I stay 275/35 ???
