Default Need advice with new wheel setup

Howdy everyone,

I'm on the verge of getting a new set of wheels, I was hoping to get some much needed advice regarding tire sizes and fender rolling.

I have to admit, I'm a noob when it comes to aggressive setups, hence my post.

My current suspension setup:

Tokico D-spec struts
Tanabe GF210 springs

As of right now, I'm running the stock 17's wheels and
I have about a 1 finger gap in the front and 1.5 finger gap in the rears.

Here are the specs of the 19's I'm about get:

Front: 19x9 Offset:24 (-1 offset with 25 mm spacer)
Rear: 19x10 Offset:24 (-9 offset with 33mm spacer)

These wheels are 5x120, so I'm going to have to run some adapters.

I had these in mind: http://adaptitusa.com/5x450to5x120wheeladapter.aspx

Anyways, I've snooped around the forums and looked at similar setups and so far, tire-wise, this is what I'm leaning towards as of right now:

235/35 in the front and 245/35 for the rear.

Ideally, I'd like to run some a stretched tire / low-profile setup to hopefully make up for clearance and avoid having to roll/pull my fenders.

1. What do you guys think of these sizes? Any other suggestions?

2. On the 5x114 -> 5x120 adapters, the adapter website is giving me an option to select the adapter thickness, from 1" 1.3" 1.5" 1.8" 2" 2.3". I'd like to space out the rear atleast 30mm and the fronts maybe 20-25mm (Any recommendations as to how much I should space it?) , but I'm confused as to what thickness of the adapter will result to these numbers.

3. I plan on sticking with my current suspension setup, do you think I'm going to have to roll/pull my fenders? (19x9 -1 offset with 235/35's for fronts and 19x10 -9 offset with 245/35's for rears

Thanks in advance guys

So you want to run those wheel adapters AND spacers too? I don't think I would trust a combo like that. I'd rather just find another set of wheels with correct bolt pattern.

The wheel adapters actually act like spacers, a 1 inch thick adapter is about 25mm, so it acts like a 25mm spacer.

I was thinking of running a 1 inch thick adapter up front (like a 25mm spacer in the front) and a 1.3 inch adapter in the rear (like a 33mm spacer in the rear).

for the tire sizes, depends on how much stretch you want.
I did
19x9 +25 f with 225/35/19 Falken 452 (switching to 215/35)
added 25mm up front since the pic - lines up good

19x10 +15 r with 245/35/19 Falken 452 (switching to 235/35 or 225/35)
added 30mm in the rear since the pic - lines up good as well

car will be lowered by summer!

No, not at all. The thing is my buddy is practically "handing" over these wheels to me. So I figured, hey why not invest a little moola for some adapters and some rubber to make them fit on the Z.

Thanks for the response man,

Glad to hear that 225/35 and 245/35 line up good with the spacers you put on.

I'm going to be running an identical setup, 25mm up front and 30~mm in the rear.

From the pictures you have, it looks good!

Any specific reason why you want to switch to 215 and 235's? Did you just want some more stretch?
