Default Opinions on 235/35/19 & 265/35/19 tires

Hey guys,

Got a quote for 19" wheels and i got suggested to go with 235/35 up front and 265/35 in the back for a flush look. I looked up on the net and not alot of choices come up. The one i saw the most often was the Toyo T1R. Not that i don't like it but i wanted to know if you had some experiences for alternatives to consider?

Thanks

What offset are your wheels? That plays a big difference whether you will be "flush" or not. Hope you're not going for that hellaflush crap.

Hi,

You mention 19” wheels, but do not provide the necessary details (wheel width and offset) needed for a good answer for your question about tire sizing and flush fitment.

The tire sizes you mention are OK, but you could go wider (245/35-19” F with 275/35-19” R) if your wheel width supports this.

A “safe” wheel size for “flush” without rubbing is something like 19x8.5” front and 19x9.5” rear with a +22mm offset.

Dunno what width the wheels are but,
I vote you go with stretching your tires.
Just my personal preference.

Good size for 9.5"/10.5" width, they will have a little stretch.

Sorry for the lack of details, i don't want a hella flush look but a low clean look with a certain flushness. Ok i suppose that wasn't very clear. Anyway, the width's would be 8,5 in front and 10,5 in the back +12mm offset front and back if i'm not mistaken. I don't have alot of knowledge about all this yet that's why i'm asking. At first i was looking for FAlken FK452's but the width is 255 and 275 for the 19's.

Hope that clarified the whole thing, thanks for your replies so far guys.

^^ That setup will be flush. 255/35-19” front and 275/35-19” provides very good handling.

I’m not certain whether the 19x10.5” will rub with a +12 offset. You may need to roll the rear fenders.

Well according to the vendor i shouldn't have to roll the fenders with that setup. If i did my research right, if i go with 245 front and 275 rear, i could go with 22 offset without rolling the fenders. I'd love to stick with +12 offset though

Ya a fender roll 100% man no big deal. Thats a good fitment though otherwise.
I'm +14 rolled with the same rim width/tire width.

not yet but it'll come with the wheels. I'll be lowering an inch. Is it hard work to roll the fenders?

Ask around for a good shop to do this for you in your area on here. Dont just trust a shop to do it or else.....
It will cost you approx $250.

you can roll them yourself if u want... i know a number of people who cut a line into the metal of the inner rolled finder like every 3 inches and rolled them back carefully.. they turned out fine zero problems.. maybe an hour.. or u can get the fender roller that hooks to your wheel hub... i heard u rent these from auto part stores they come with directions i assume..

Haha No hellaflush for me Davidv, the roads here in Quebec would destroy the car. I probably will go see a professionnal, since i'm an insurance adjuster i know some some quality garages for that kind of work. Do i need to roll alot with +12 offset?
