I have had both, both are great tires. Invo's are better in the rain , quieter and have a lot more grip. Downfall, more expensive too.

i've had both also, and no doubt they are both great tires but I have to disagree, so far the ventus v12 evo's are superior for a daily. Super quiet, great in the rain, and pretty damn sticky. Plus a little higher treadwear rating. I love em, and they will be my next set too. However I rode on invo's for 40k miles and only have had the hankooks for 7-10k, so I cant tell you long term quality on the hankooks.

however, invo's aren't directional so you can rotate them side to side...
either way you can't go wrong imo

I'm gonna have to vote invo. Second only to significantly
Higher priced tires in my experience. Though I've not personally
Had v12s previously, which is worth mentioning.

INVO's for me as well. They have been great tires for me. I can't comment on the V12's since I've never had them.

My only complaint with the V12's is their soft sidewall. Never had the Nitto's.

Very similer sidewall, IMO they handle better slightly stretched. 275/40 Invo i wouldn't run on a wheel less than 10. When i first installed Invo's i had a 9 inch rear wheel, very sloppy, but the front 255/40 handled fine on the 9 inch wheel.

I have 245/255's on the OEM 8/8.5" wheels, at 35 PSI it felt like my sway bars had snapped. I now run them at 45-47 PSI which helps a lot. I am not a big fan of stretching tires so I just use higher PSI to make up for it.

I have the v12s as well. They are very quiet, good in the rain and good in the dry. As echoed by many, this is not a tire I would recommend tracking seriously with. Sidewall is softer than many other options and changing directions can lead to gummy inputs and weaker feedback.

But for a daily driven car, I can't ask for much more. Very affordable, quiet, good in wet/dry and so far decent tread wear (~9000 miles on them this past spring through fall). If you don't track and aren't necessarily the best driver the v12s will be fine.
I run a 255/275 setup on 9.5 and 10.5 inch wheels. I was looking at the Invos too, but they didn't offer me what I wanted for my daily driver that the Hankooks did for the price.

I was seriously thinking bout the hankooks just from reading the reviews they seem like a much better tire, but when I called my tire shop he said to use the nittos after finding this thread I believe I will be giving the nittos a shot. Also I'm getting my fronts for free so cost isn't an issue at this point. Again thanks my350z

I have the Hankook's and the are soft which is good and bad....around town even with 50lbs of airin the tires the car still has a nice ride....And I have a Hotctkis suspension! The bad part when driving spirited it feels a little squishy in the curves. The feedback could be sharper,I think I'll try something else the next go round. CARandDRIVER did a tire test and they came in 2nd place to the michelins but the did complain about the soft side walls.
They're quite as hell too. Not a bad tire at all for a daily driver, but if you track this ain't the one.

side wall is too soft on the kook imo, I thought it was a good tire until I got a set of kdws, um ya...the kook is a POS in all aspects to me now. Im sure for a person that just cruises around its fine, but I drive my car hard. they had no traction at the strip either. I wanted to try the Invo but heard its crap in the rain.

INVO rocks in the rain, better than the Kooks. But the sidewall feels about the same, but has much better traction. Yes they are great daily tires, but i also have another set of wheels with sticky tires NT05

Same thing.....useless at the track 1/4 mile.....zero traction! But damm if they don't feel good in the street!
I would put them on a luxury car with 19's or 20's.
I can't afford to replace mine only put around 5000 miles on them. I'll use something else next go round.
