Question Flush wheel

Ive been reading threw alot of threads and have found similar questions but not specific to what i need. Im looking at buying a set of 18 rims and want to go with a 9inch wide in the front. My question is what size do i need in the back to make it flush. Can i go 9 in the front and 10 wide in the back with a 35mm offset, or can i got with all 4 9inch wide with 35mm offset? Any suggestions or info is wanted, first time buying rims and dont want to make mistake of rim sticking out or in to far. Thanks

Best bet is to buy a staggered set up i.e. 18"x9"/10" or some variant like that. +35mm offset is not going to give you flush wheels.

granted, flush is subjective so i would suggest getting on the wheel and tire section and searching 18" wheels. im pretty sure there is even a thread just for 18's. many of the people who post pictures also put what size and offset the wheels are.

search is your best friend here so use it many many times before you start a thread that has been answered. also, since your in the market for wheels, search the classifieds. you can pick up a nice set of used wheels for around the price of new crappy ones. and if you want new, look at the vendors.

thanks for the info everyone. Im calling tomorrow to see it they have the rims i want in 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear with +15mm offset. If i was to go with a 18x9 front and 18x10 rear what would be the best offset for flush, is the +22 set up best or is there alittle better offset for that size?

I think you could go a little further than 22 offset. I'm at work, so I'm using my mobile, so I can't link it for you, but google.. Offset calculator, or wheel size calculator, and if you punch in the info you have it'll tell you how much your wheels will come out. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think if you go 18x10.5 +15mm offset your wheels may come out past the fender. I think you should search the forum, or google and see what that kind of set up looks like on our cars. It may be perfectly flush, you never know, but you should double check before you buy the wheels.

The worst thing you can do is rush a purchase on a set of rims. The wheels will define your car, and most likely you won't be replacing them soon, so take your time, do your research and get it right the first time. I took about 3 weeks to figure out which wheels I wanted and I don't regret the size or style one bit.
Goodluck.

9.5 10.5 with offset of 15 all around should be close to flush.., but flush is not exactly the same for everyone.. What is your current suspension setup and your driving style? This is very important on how flush you really want to go... Good luck

I called yesterday and they only have 18x9 with +35mm in the rims i want. If i orders those what size spacers in the front and back would i need to make them flush or slightly aggressive, or should i just try finding another set that i like? Im looking for 5 spoke wheels. Im also looking at lowering it 1 inch with the pro kit.

Save your money, and wait to find proper fitting wheels. Spacers are roughly $100 a set, if you have to buy 2 sets of spacers, ditch the spacer idea and add $200 to your wheel cost.

I decided that i would look for some better rims, found the RP03 and love the look, i cant seem to find a 18x10.5 in them though, found the 18x9.5 with a +38mm. I found them up to 10 but thats it. Anyone have any sites that i can buy them at? Trying to find a 18x9.5 +15mm front, and 18x10.5 +15mm rear, i like the look of that setup. Thanks to everyone for there advice, ive went from not knowing anything to at least trying to grasp the concept of the offsets and different looks, still more to learn.

The RP03's come in 18x10 +15 That is a good size for the rear

For the front: I would go with 18x10+22. You could still stagger tire sizes and I think it would look slightly better than the 18x9+18 (which is also a fine choice if you prefer).

I bought my enkeis from Oakos (a vendor on this forum) and had a great experience.
