Default Blizzaks for winter?

Since the Z is my daily driver, I need to buy tires before we get snow here in NJ. Has anyone tried Blizzaks? How are they?

Blizzaks are the only way if you want to survive the winter.

Default amazing tires

I have owned the artic alpina, blizzaks and also bridgestone winter version (forgot lettering) and must say that the blizzak lm22 are truly an amazing tire. I used to beat 4X4 trucks and cars up hills with the blizzaks on my bmw. My wife and I raced the z against my other car subaru outback and the bmw always won, again great tires. the z weighs the same as 3 series and am sure that I can feather the clutch to get going in the snow.
good luck

That's very good to know....I've got some LM-22's on order right now. Should be coming from the warehouse in a day or two.

I have them mounted on my stock 17" rims right now and I must also add that the cold/dry weather handling of the tires is quite impressive. I definately lost some cornering going from my 255/275 Toyo setup, but not as much as I thought I would.

Mounted my LM-22s to my stock 17s last week. The cold snap is just about to hit in Boston, and I'm ready to go!......
Plus as an added bonus, I'm letting the brake dust built up really bad on the stock 17s so that when the spring breaks----- I will be so fed up with them that I will BE FORCED to buy LE37s!!!!! Its self-mental-reverse-whacko psychology!!!!! Try it, you might like it!! hehehehehe
