Default Rota Torque Offset question

I am planning on getting a set of Hyper Black rota torques 18x9.5 all around for my redline 350z. My question is with offset. I know a lot of people run +20 with these. However I want to get the most concave look I could get away with. Correct me if I am wrong:

If I run a higher offset than +20 then that means I will have the wheel closer to the fender thus less concavity on the rim.

And If I run a lower offset (if it is even available) it would look more concave but the wheel would not be flush with the fender?

You got it the other way around. The lower the offset, the closer the wheel will be to the fender.

Exactly what calin said, what size tires are you going to run, that will effect what offsets you should get.

The lower the offset the further out the wheel will sit. The Torque is commonly offered is 18x9.5 +28 and 18x9.5 +20 fitments. The 18x9.5 +20 mode will sit exactly 8mm's further out on the car, ie flusher with the fender. Also, if you have Brembo brakes you will want to get the +20 model as these will clear the front calipers without spacers.

In regards to wheel concavity, all Rota Torque's in 18x9.5 look identical. This is a cast aluminum wheel based off one single wheel mold. Offset is changed by the use of a hub adapter during production so the concave, spoke profile, etc.. is identical regardless of the offset. I would suggest the 18x9.5 +20 model on the 350z. It looks great and will fill the fenders properly

Use a offset calculator and see how the wheel changes position when you change offset.

Sell them and run 245 & 285 or 255 & 295.

I don't want to loose money on a st of tires that has less than 4k on them. Those will work for now. The smallest size you can fit upfront I think is 245 so 235 should work also. They will be slightly streched.

Did the old tires fit the new wheels?
