Were you the blacked out Z on the run this weekend? 35th anniversary you just picked up?

I was running newly installed v12's and they held their own...took some adjusting from my RE760's which I loved but never went on a run with. Most of the guys in the group had the KDW's on and they had nothing but good things to say about those tires. But like posted above, R888's also have great reviews but I don't know how they would do for a DD.

Cool, I thought so. The V12's were good and they're not gonna dent the wallet. The RE760 sports I ad were awesome but like I said they never saw a mountain run, but they were great for spirited driving.

I just put a set of Nitto Invos on my car. For what I use my car for I can't say anything bad about them.

You don't say what type of wheels you have on your Z. Are you sure all of the above are available in the size you want/need?

I went with the ADO8s. I use them on my summer wheels and for AutoX. Great tire! In other sizes I would have gone with the V12's. Seems like a great tire for the price.

BTW, for my winter wheels I put on a set of YOKOHAMA AVID W4S all seasons. Reasonably priced tire that has performed really well. I just finished driving 1700 miles on these tires at much higher than highway speeds and they performed quite well. My only little complaint was braking in a sweeper at high speed. Something that you should avoid anyway. These tires you can run when it drops into the 30's without sacrificing grip.

I would take a look at cost of tires before you decide to go with the 19". There are all kinds of options for 18" tires, not so much with the 19". Keep in mind that you have to keep the VDC happy as well. I have a set of the v.2 Track wheels. 18x9 front and 19x10 rear. It was a LOT more expensive to put rubber on those wheels than my v.1 wheels, 18x8 front, 18x8.5 rear.

Your options will be more limited with 19", you'll spend a ton more money on not only wheels but tires, and you'll be carrying a lot more weight with 19" vs. 18".

i got this planned

18s 8.5 front with
g force
255/35/18

and 18s 9.5 back with
g force
285/30/18

35+offset on both

rims are xxr's 507 w series with red edges/inserts
Will those clear my brems also?

is it a bad idea for wide on front? or should i keep them similar to the
225/45/18 i got now and go wide only on back?
