Rim Width Drift-ability Question
I have an 03 350z enthusiast with stock wheels and tires and I am able to easily slide out the rear(when its safe) and I enjoy having this ease. I want aftermarket rims but I'd like to know how wide I could go without getting to much grip that it makes drifting difficult.
Thanks,
Jay

There are tons of things that more greatly affect how a car drifts than the width of your rims. You shouldn't be worried about this anyway as you shouldn't be drifting on your street tires/rims. Get whatever rims you want and keep your stock ones and put those on when you want to drift.
To answer your original question, however, I run 18x10.5 Enkei NT03's with 315/30/18 PS2s and the car will still drift.

Ok mom. If i didn't want to have fun I would of bought a camry. Im not thrashing about on the streets but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many people on this forum that has not turned off traction control once in awhile and had a little fun
as far as rims go lighter the better and i suggest something 9.5-10.5 wide
as far as tires, 235-245-255 tires work good w/ stock power
also stretchy tires slip and slide a little better than square grippy tires
