i dont post much in this forum so i dont know what is gong on because when i try to look in others topic it comes up halfway through the posts.
Anyway.. i have a question about fitment and if ill have any problems like rubbing when turning or fender rolling etc.
i want to put on XXR 527 18x8.75 Chromium Black 5-100/5-114.3 [+20mm] up front with 225/45/18 tires. and in the rear XXR 527 18x9.75 Chromium Black 5-100/5-114.3 [+20mm] with 245/45/18 tires, i also want to drop the car all round 1.25". My question is will this set up give me trouble?

Use a offset calculator to compare your current wheels to the new wheels. With the new dimensions, check the car with a tape. Do you clear the suspension, brakes calipers and fenders? Reference: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

 

As another poster advised,there are many wheel/tire calculators you can get online.Basically,you want to get as close as possible to the OEM tire diameter.
There are some acceptable tolerances.These calculators will provide this.
Your front tire choice ok to me.I question the rear...A 235/45 or a 265/40
looks to me a better match.Don't know what brand tires you are gonna use.
There is some slight variation in diameters by brand.If it were me,I'd go with
the 265/40 rear...A wider tire in the back always looks great!

 

The 1.25" drop will work.Do you have any body mods...lip spoilers/skirts etc?
Or,are you planning?If so,this may be a factor in "being careful" where you drive&park.
Also,the offsets on the wheels look ok.I'm running 19's with ACE Strada wheels.Different offset on the front than back.I don't think your selection will cause a problem.If you want verifiction,I suggest you call XXR..tell e'm
what car the wheels are going on.They should give you the right answer.
I WOULD NOT TRUST THE TIRE/WHEEL PLACES TO GIVE YOU CORRECT INFO ON OFFSETS.MOST OF THESE GUYS ARE SALESMEN...KNOW LITTLE ABOUT
WHATS RIGHT FOR WHAT CAR.

 

You wont have any issues at all.. Just run the 235/265 tire combo. For them to rub youd have to run like a 9" wheel with a negative 20-30 offset, unless you run supper big tires.

Offset calculators are stupid. Use your sense and a measuring tape. They dont factor in variables, They are only accurate if everything on your cars alightment is @ ZERO, toe, camber, caster blah blah blah...

 

How is a 235/45-18 a better match? You do know that 245/45-18, the tire the OP mentioned is the stock sized tire.

Like XXR would know.



OP, the tire sizes you picked will work, they are narrow as hell and will look like *** unless you run some large spacers on the wheels (25mm, front and rear)
Best thing to do is run a 245/40 front and 275/40 rear, that is standard fitment for the Z. The offset of those wheels WILLNOT cause any problems turning or anything. The rear may need an ever so slight roll if the brand of tire you pick runs wide (not all 275's or any width tire is actually the same) but since you are buying cheap wheels i'm sure you getting cheap tires that will probably run narrow .

 

You won't encounter any problems with that wheel and tire setup OP. Though you'll probably regret getting skinny wheels and tires . I suggest getting wider wheels (at least 9" front and 10" rear) and wider tires (at least 245 front and 275 rear).
