Question 350z Front Wheel Problem?

So I got a set of custom wheels from a friend with the same exact offsets as my 04 350z and I dropped the car off at the tire shop before I came to work today. Well they called me and said the rims fit on the back of the car no problem but that they wouldn't fit on the front because of some bolt or something connected to my brake calipers...

Anybody have any idea what he was talking about? And do I have to buy special wheels to fit the 350z?

Maybe you should find a shop that knows what they are doing. I do not trust this place.

Moved to proper forum

Check out the thread titled "HELP?!?! New Wheels Don't Fit? Click here for solution... " at the top of this forum.

That being said.... the shop you're dealing with is incompetent. You'll realize it once you read that thread.

Also, have you read the Top 100 Questions thread? It's answered there too.

That sucks , you need to buy new wheels or have them machined to fit over the bolt.

I like using the rear wheels for the front. 18x8.5x4 - blam!

^^This. Sorry bro, but it happens.

Or go to a shop that knows what they're doing.

I still recommend the former.

Remove the bolt...it should come off easy...was put there so tire store idiots don't put the rear wheels on front and vice versa.
