18 inch wheels? Well that certainly narrows down the choices.

I would like to not pay any more than 2,600 for the entire setup.

For your budget, you should be able to find a big selection.
Now,if they are still in stock, thats another story...may be advertised, could be out
18's are for the most part going away...19's are the new 18's from what I've seen.
What look do you want?Spoke/star,Mesh?
Black is now the hot trend. You may not like that...
I'd go for more of a alloy look.
As for tires,I put on a set of Hankook v12's ..For the money, you cannot beat them.
They are quiet,grip well,great looks.

I'd give Discount Tire a shout...great service and prices.

Since you already have a budget why not just start looking in the marketplace for what you can afford?:

Best advice here

If you purchase used from our marketplace on the site you will usually get a much better deal than buying the wheels at retail price.

Figure $800 for tires leaves you with $1,800 or $450/wheel. Plenty of wheels available for this price.

NOTE: Retailers like TireRack have reasonable package prices (wheels plus tire mount and balance). If you have TPMS you do NOT want the package mounted.

Really what i was looking for was for someone to not be unintellectual, and give me some good ideas for setups. I have been out of the game for about 3 years now due to having 2 kids and being deployed to Iraq, so I'm not really sure what's "IN" anymore.

Thanks I will keep all this in mind... by the way what do you think about eighteens? I was thinking of going with nineteens but I heard you lose some gas mileage???

Some people love the big lip look, others love the no lip look, some what more of a bling wheel , others want a quality race wheel, some people want a wheel with a conservative offset for wide rubber, some want perfecty flush with the fender lip and other think its flush when the wheel sticks out 2 inches(HellaGay Style).
All of these are considered in style. What is the style you want?

best suggestion I can offer is look through the members gallery and find some setups you like - from there you can start to narrow the field as to what fits into your budget

if your car has TPMS, there are several vendors who can offer a mounted/balanced setup that includes new sensors, allowing you to either keep your current wheel/tire setup in storage for future use, or sell them to someone else.

if that is your reasoning for not going with 19s and you were really concerned with MPGs then you would have gotten a prius.
joke aside - i say get what you prefer/want...you like 19s get 19s.
you might get 18's = be unhappy = sell them with a loss on what you spent = end up getting 19's anyway.
