Default Need Help Choosing 20" Tires

so i recently got a set of 20's for my 06 Z. the front is a 20x8.5 and the back is a 20x10 and i need to replace the front tires due to camber wear from the last owner. i talked the guys at discount tire and they said the biggest tire i can put on the front is a 255/30r20 but im wondering if a 255/35r20 will fit. The wheel is a MRR GT-1 but im not sure about the offsets. I want to go with a 255/35r20 because I can buy a nitto nt555 because i had such good luck with em on my stocker 18's. any help would be greatly appreciated. My Z has a stock suspension and no brembos if it makes a difference.

Don't think you will have a problem mounting either tire on a 8.5" rim. However, the 35 series tire is taller than the 30.Depending on the brand of tire, could be up to close to an inch difference on a 20" tire.Your rolling diameter may be out of whack.I'd go with the 30 series if it were me.Sometimes the brand that you want does not offer the size that is
right for proper fitment on your car.

The 35 series will be almost an inch taller than the OEM tire. I would also do what ever I could to stay away from 555's.

What size are your rear tires? Your front tire diameter shouldn't be greater than the rear. It will cause issues with the VDC.

i dont think i have vdc, theres no button by the fuel door button, the backs right now are 275/30's. im replacing the front tires then replacing the back a couple weeks after cuz i cant spend 1000 on tires right now lol i never had any issues with the 555's, what brand tires would you recommend for a daily driver thats not $300 a tire in a 255/30r20? and i really dont care if theyre the same brand or series. im gonna go with a 285/30 in the back unless yall convince me otherwise. i wanted a 305 but cant spend 500 each tire.
