Wheels: The good and the bad.
Literally a great amount of wheel companies have rims a similar look to the Rota wheel
you mentioned...multi-spoke.Reading your post& comments, sounds like you are limited in funds, want a cheaper wheel, have interest if there is a "pay plan" per se.You may want to check with Discount Tire direct. They have a great selection of wheels and offer a very attractive pay plan. Also, they usually run specials.I agree with some other posters,
Vivid is high end when it comes to prices.

-Limited in funds? isn't everyone?
-Pay plans make it a little less stressful on the wallet so why not?
-And vivid may be high(i dont know) but if they match prices i would go with them. I work for a small company and find that small business' are more helpful and stand behind their product better than a large company. Id rather help out the small guy if i can. Without them there would be no competition.
if your interested in the pfo1 check out oakos.com. they usually have all the sizes and offsets in stock. they are a member here so you could PM them for more info and pricing. also 18x9.5+15 / 18x10.5 +15 and call it a day. my 2 cents
I was going to do 9.5 all around with spacers in the back so i could rotate them. 10.5 all around wont work right?
10.5 all around will work but will require more camber up front. I have a 9.5 +15 up front with -1.6 with a 255/40 and it sits perfect. 10.5 would need more camber plus a more stretched tire which would make swapping front to rear a bit interesting but there are some that have done it successfully. I would check out the official enkei wheel thread as I know they have posted their setups in there.
Ratating tires is really over rated. Just flip your tires , and you will replace about 2 sets of rears to every set of front if you run street camber (less than -1.8)
I seriously don't get why people have such a hard on for having to have wheels right this very second when they can't afford a functional set. Keep the stockers. Save money, keep an eye on the marketplace for used sets. Hell, find some used factory track wheels. I just got spacers for mine since I couldn't afford a set of what I really want right now. Regardless, you're probably going to add rotational weight with a "mid-grade" wheel as compared to your stockers.
Just my .02. Volk will be the only aftermarket wheel that touches my Z. Some might call that dumb, but I'm taking my time and when it's time I'll ****** up a used set.

quick question because I can't seem to figure this out. Do the rota torques concave more than the enkie pf01? Im looking at 18" lowest offsets available for each, or at least trying to.
Im in love with this stance.

As far as the concavity of the Rotas vs Enkeis, I can't speak for the Rotas since we don't carry them but the Enkeis aren't all that concave unfortunately.
Cast doesn't automatically make it bad, and forged doesn't automatically make it great
As with anything, there are variations in the processes used, the quality of the raw material, the design and quality of the mold or press, and the procedure used. Cast for example has many different possible variations
Lots of good stuff is cast - Work Emotions, all of Enkei, most of Advan's line, most of SSR's line, Weds, etc. Some are heavy, some are light. When it comes to something that rotates, where the mass is placed is probably more important vs what the net mass is. Remember, it has to rotate, it's not staying stationary, like, say, a carbon roof, or other light weight components.

At this point in the cars lifecycle, every conceivable wheel of any possible budget has been done, so it really will take a bit of reseach to hone in on what you like and what you can afford.
As far as the finishes, the company that does it, and the maintenance taken (or lack of) by the owner tends to make all the difference in the world. I had Work CR Kai's on my Z for years, with the matte bronze, and never had any issues with discoloration, or staining, even with salt, normal road grime, rain use, etc. I could spray whatever cleaner on them I wanted, never had a problem. I now run another set of Works, that have a typical stainless lip that is clear anodized. Yes, it requires a bit more attention in terms of the cleaners you use, but again, nothing remarkable or difficult. No issues with salt or rain, etc again. I did have to have them refinished earlier this year only because my brother used a clearner that was acid based on them by accident, and it left some staining. Prior to that I had used simple soap and water (since I kept them waxed, brake dust just fell off), or Diablo gel cleaner, which worked great when I got lazy with waxing the wheels.
