Default Staggered Tire Sizing

I am thinking about increasing my rear tires to 305s for more straight line traction but am worried about the car feeling unbalanced between thr front and back. I am currently running 255s and 285s in the rear and the car feels great. How would I adjust the suspension so I don't feel too much rear push with the 305? Thanks for any help.

PS: I have stillen sways, stance coilovers and camber kits x 4 wheels.

What is too much rear push? Isn't that the function of the rear tires? To push the car?

Stiffer rear sway bar settings, stiffer rear damper settings, and possibly higher spring rates in the rear will help the car handle more neutral with the larger rear tires. The opposite up front works too if the rear settings are already to stiff. Good luck!

I'll add that less camber in the rear and more camber in the front will help the car handle more neutrally as well. Depending on your wheel offsets it may not be possible to run somewhere around -1 degree camber in the rear but that is what I would shoot for. Somewhere around -2 up front and somewhere around -1 in the back will be a good place to start.

Those camber settings and going to stiffer settings in the rear and/or softer settings up front will all help the understeer problems you are jumping into by getting those big 305's.

Bump up to a 275 front tire, simple and easy. How much HP do you have, do you really need a 305?

I am ~500whp/475torque and am planning on tuning by rpm/wheel speed this spring. I would like to run as much boost as I can but have some more control of the power level in 1st and 2nd gear. I can spins the h@ll out of my 285s right now in the lower gears. I am going to reduce the rear camber from -2 to -1 when I mount the 305s to allow for more straight line traction. I think I can pull this off with the offset of my wheels and I have rolled my fenders already. I just don't have much experience with setting up suspensions.

How have you been on the forum for 4+ years and still don't know how to stagger your tire setup?
