+1 also. To be honest bro, why skimp on quality? You already spent a load of money on the brakes and the turbo, you should have enough money to put a nice set of wheels on. It's all preference, but whatever you do don't buy the XXR's. Also, take a look at classifieds, there are some guys selling wheel and tire combo's there. In addition there is a guy on the nismo forum selling his Volks te3's for 2500 obo. PM me and I'll give you his info. A nice set of Volks or even Advan wheels would look great. Good luck.

Please no knock-off wheels. There's way too many quality wheels that are affordable, as well as a ton of used high end wheels, for people to have to resort to crappy knock-off wheels.

Cast wheels can be strong, as long as the materials and the casting process are done right. Most OEM/stock wheels are cast, and they're wayyyy better than cheap XXRs/Rotas/etc. I've owned 1 set of crappy wheels. They were on a car when I bought it. After I cracked one on a pot hole, I got some old school Enkeis and I've never owned cheap wheels since. My car handled much better with the lighter Enkeis, and they were a lot stronger than the cast Rotas.

You will need to factor in brake clearance in your choices as well.

So 5Zigen is a good brand? I have 5Zigen Hyper5ZR's going on 7 years old, and the chrome is peeling off of 2 out of 4 wheels! 1 is also bent pretty good, so I am looking at replacing. 5Zigen also does not stand behind their product...had a wheel center break apart, and rather than send out a replacement with apologies, they sold me a new one!

So I've been shopping some of the same wheels as the OP....what are the weight differences vs stock? Most sites conveniently do not list the wheel weights.

Why would they send you new center caps on 7yr old wheels for free? Are your ZR's the 2 piece model? Plenty of guys use FN 5Zigen's for racing purposes as they're inexpensive and light.

Yep. I bought this car. Did not build nothing. All I did was have it Re-tuned. Nothing else. Rotara brakes. Im thinking about stock 17" maxima wheels actually. My question isnt being answered due to most of the bagging on the car. If you arent willing to answer my question just better off not saying anything .

and for those with serious replies. Thanks, theyre giving me ideas. I have VOLK TE37s on the car right now. looking for a cheaper set. Sorry im not a baller. and dont feel like spending over 2g's on a set of wheels.
