Default Why does Ebay say these tires are incompatible? - Stock wheels/tires

I need a new set of tires for the front. I have a '03 6MT touring and the manual says I need 225/45/18 91W

this ebay link matches that but their own compatibility chart says it wont work, what am i missing? can i use these tires on my car?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kenda-Kaiser...=mtr#vi-ilComp

I use my car as a daily driver, rarely going over 80 mph, I dont race or drift or anything like that. for my purposes, can I save some money and get these tires or are they absolutely rubbish tires?

So this should work for me (cheapest tirerack option)?

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...cleSearch=true

Do you all get that road hazard thing or is that a jip? Do I need valve stems? (sorry for all the ignorant questions, I know literally nothing about tires, and Im learning as I go)

I suggest buying from a local company that figures all that out for you. If you are staying with OEM wheels and tire size then why bother ordering on the internet. You will still have to replace the valve stems. The 350 has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Purchasing the road hazard depends on how you drive and the roads you drive on. How often do you pick up nails or thrash curbs?

This makes no sense....if staying OEM, what does the local company need to figure out for you? Replacing tires with the same size is the perfect time to shop the internet for the best price shipped to the door.

On all the tires I've bought the best prices have always been http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do?, with free ship & no taxes in my area it's hard to beat their prices locally.

you got the size right.
But the Kenda tires are crap.Cannot say much good about them.
VERY noisy,too.
Not a good idea to mix tire brands.Especially with a tire with such an aggressive tread pattern.

Well, they haven't shipped yet because it is out of stock at the moment. Which tire would you recommend from their site? I can still change my order (I went with the cheapest ones they had that would fit my car).

I currently have 245/45/18 Riken rear tires that I got a year ago from DiscountTire.

Thanks for letting me know, now I feel even better about this. I wish I knew about doing this when I had my rears replaced a year ago. Could have gotten the whole set for about what I paid for just two at discounttire.

For some people having tires shipped to their house is a hassle. You have to load the tires and take to the shop to get them mounted anyway. The shop hits you for mounting, balancing, and replacing the TPS valves. When it is all totaled up how much do you actually save? Is the mooney you save worth the hassle?

Are you having discount ship the tires to your house and then taking the tires to discount to mount them? How does that make sense? They will give you the same price in the store.

I bought tires from discounttiredirect.com, NOT discounttire.com. The former site only sells tires, and then you have them installed, which I had done at walmart today ($22, 10 to mount, 10 for TPMS fee).

A huge world of difference driving back from walmart. It feels so much more smoother than the tires I had (which goes to show how much in bad shape the old ones were). Thanks again everyone for all the help!

Check 2008 base..it's says compatible
BTW ALL years are compatible..given a particular wheel size of your choice.

many ebay compatibility searches are flawed. Welcome to e bay.
