Opinions on lug color/ open or closed end ? DB Z w/ gold wheels--
Gorilla closed-end blue lug nuts
1. They're steel, not aluminum. Stronger, and doesn't get thread raped.
2. Not obnoxiously long.
3. Spline drive. STRONG spline drive.
Don't get an open-ended lug nut if you DD and drive in the rain. It's an easy way to start rusting your studs.

I don't "plan" on it. But I do take them off/on. Just a must sometimes and sure we all know. Especially owners that DIY all the time. Even the lugs that came w the wheels are flaking away. It's just cheesy. Can't tell until u take the lugs off completely.
+1 to what Wais said. if you plan on removing them over and over they'll begin to flake off little by little. its just an annoying part of these aluminum lugs. these are mine:
I say screw "lightweight racer aluminum lug nuts," as I'm not personally a fan of buying new studs every 6-12 months.

Na. I'm not worried about the weight much. Aluminum ones are a good bit lighter than the ones I have but sure they're not worth the little probs and all.
I did eat a little less last night tho. Haha. ate less / drank more!!

I'm telling you, man. You won't be upset with these. They're known for their strong spline drive and durability. These are also somewhat slimmer than regular lug nuts, giving extra clearance if you need it. You have short lugs in your original post, so I assume you're not looking for the obnoxiously long curb feeler lug nuts.

Also come in other colors, but I think blue would look awesome. A method I use to protect the wheel from scratches, is to wrap 2 or 3 layers of electrical tape around the socket.
All the research I had done, lead to Gorilla and McGard being the two best brands for solid, strong lug nuts.

I think I have seen some muteki lugs similar to those u posted. They don't look too bad. I just need all colors so I can see which grow on me and look the best. Lol. Jk
