Opinions on lug color/ open or closed end ? DB Z w/ gold wheels--
Waited for a little while to get new lugs. Just trying to decide which route to go with. And either open or closed ends? Im leaning towards the open ends more but would like opinions from the rest w/ style-thx--
A. Blue
B. Silver
C. Gold
D. Leave alone

out of those 4 choices i think blue open end lugs would stand out the most against your gold wheels. plus they would match your blue exterior. you could also try to match with the brembo orange but it might not stand out as much.

Yea, I was thinking that. Matching up to the blue or matching up to the brembo-or try to at least.

None
Those cheap NRG lugs will end up fading over time no matter what color you get. Stick with what you have!
I had a set of red TiTek lugs that turned pinkish over time and now I just run a set of black Mutekis

I just use McGards they're pretty durable. But those NRG will fade and chip. Had some Muteki that went from blue to chrome because the color chipped.

I vote silver, simply because I've had lug nuts in the past where the color began to fad.

Colored lugs are gay.Whatsmore, all I've seen fade after awhile...cheapen your wheels.

Blue
But like others have said, colors will fade and they will scratch if you remove them often

i've seen rays, work, weds, muteki lugs chip slightly under constant use and torquing. so far my project kics neochromes are holding up nicely.

If the OP has extended studs it might not be a bad idea, however I prefer the look of close ended.
I invested in Project Kics Revos and am happy with the way they look (non-NeoChro).

Look--most will know. The ones that come are heavy as hek compared to rays. And the ones I felt at import alliance nrg--crazy light weight.

I think what you have on there now looks great. You've got a classy wheel and by throwing colored lug nuts at it you risk cheapening the overall look.

Gorilla closed-end blue lug nuts
1. They're steel, not aluminum. Stronger, and doesn't get thread raped.
2. Not obnoxiously long.
3. Spline drive. STRONG spline drive.
Don't get an open-ended lug nut if you DD and drive in the rain. It's an easy way to start rusting your studs.

It's not a dd but do get caught in the rain every once a while. Lots of good opinions. Well appreciated.

get ARP extended studs. that's what i run on mine. they look great with the open ends. if not then closed ends will be fine for your setup.
