I need wheel choice help!
Hello everyone, I am a *new* member to this site. I have had an account for a bit of time, but haven't been into posting or creating a thread. As of now, I am on 05 stockies Plasti-dipped black. I now know that I definitely want black rims. I have been having a lot of trouble trying to find the ones I want. I want specially
GLOSS BLACK
-Front: 19x8.5 around+20 offset 255 tire
-Rear: 19x9.5 around+20 offset 265/275 tire
My goal is to find wheels and tires for about $1500-$1600. I know that my price range is low, so I have been looking into xxr's and rotas, but CANNOT find gloss black. I don't know if its me being weird and wanting gloss rims, but I can only find matte and I DEFINITELY want gloss. If anyone has any ideas in what rims would fit my description, that would be GREAT.

do you have a style in mind? would be pointless throwing up five or six or ten spoke wheels if you dont like. concave or not. with lip or not. too many variables. also the widths and offsets are no bueno. unless there is a reason behind you coming to that conclusion on what you want.

XXR's make gloss black, that's what I'm looking at right now.
They come in close to the size you're looking for, but if you change your mind to 18's or 20's there are tons more choices as far as XXR wheels go.

You are gonna have a difficult time finding wheels&tires in the sizes you
listed to fit in your budget. Also, proper offsets will be a problem.Low
end wheels do not offer much in offset variety. In addition, tire prices
have gotten higher due to the increase in petro. You may want to
check the marketplace for used.IMO,your choice of going with 19's
is a good one.Another option would be to paint the wheel of your choice
gloss black. This is a pretty easy job.

Thank you all very much. Sorry for highjacking my own thread, but I have gone with 19 xxr 530 19x8.75 245/35/19 and 19x10.75 275/30/19 tire in chromium black. I actually recently changed my mind and went with gunmetal to try and not be like everyone else and get black wheels. These wheels come in 2 offset choices +15 or +35. When I use an offset calculator, I lean towards the +35 just because I am never going to slam my car or be low and slow. I have plans for a coilover system, but only dropping about 2 inches or so just to eliminate some or all of the wheel gap. I get nervous about +15 because I know I will probably stick out in the back and I would like it to be flush without fenders rolled IF possible. Should I do +15 in the front with +35 in the back? Any opinions would be great. Thank you!

Okay.. Thanks.. like i said though, I am completely unfamiliar with this site but thank you for the xxr wheel thread link. I just do not want my wheels to be hellaflush or poke. Just flush. http://i1158.photobucket.com/albums/p601/Fillipers/7A445AE7-7D7E-41C5-A84B-E44A6CB9A699-461-0000002A8858256B_zps3adc86ff.jpg[/IMG]

found that link to a photobucket pictures with 9" front 11" rear +15 offset but like i said, the offset calculator is telling me that with +15 ill poke about 1.5-2 inches outward when he has +15 and it works?

I have 19x10 +15 fronts and 19x11 +15 rears and I am pretty flush with the fenders. Definetly don't stick out 1.5 to 2 inches. I would stop using that wheel calculator.

When you say you're pretty flush with the fenders, do you mean they are still just a bit sunk in or theyre a bit poking? Did you have to roll your rear fenders?

I just dont want any rubbing and i drive very aggressively. Even after switching to a different offset calculator, I am still leaning towards the 35mm offset considering it is telling me ill be close to flush but then why comparing it to other z's with +12 offset, theyre flush. any help would be great. I have been looking through the xxr thread and still cannot make up my mind :/

Wow, first off, props to your z. Its looking very mean. Secondly, I'm assuming that your rear fenders are rolled, but how about your fronts? Looks like I'm going to be preordering with offsets +15 after all! thank you all very much.

I do not have any rear rubbing issues at all. However if I am driving hard if there is any bumps on a corner my front occasionally rubs. But honestly it's hard to do a setup like this and make it not rub at all, with my wheels turned all the way there is hardly a hair between the tire and fender.
