Hey guys,

So im currently running 10.5 width with +12 offset wheels in the rear. one of the wheels seems to be bent, since my tire stopped holding air and there are no holes or nails in it. I have an extra wheel lying around, but its an 11 inch width wheel with +12 offset. Is it okay if I throw that on? The tire sizes would stay the same, just one of the wheels would be .5 inches bigger. Is that ok??

IMO,you will not notice the difference.
You mean you have the same exact wheel(make/style)but its a .5" wider?
What other stuff do you have in your garage?

Yes I have varrstoens and for some reason one day I was driving off and heard the tire flapping but no holes or anything wrong with the tire. I have an extra Varrstoen wheel, same offset and style, just in 11 inch width as opposed to 10.5. Wondering if that would throw anything off since the other side is a 10.5

You will be fine, but it will cause extra wear and tear on an LSD. Couple days around town, no big deal.

Thanks for the answer. Here is another serious question. How is running a 11 inch wheel with +12 offset different from running a 10.5 inch wheel with +12 offset with a 13mm spacer? They would technically be the same size after the spacer. Is my logic wrong??

Or, hypothetically, what if i was running a 10.5 inch wheel with +12 offset, but the other side is a 10.5 with +0 offset. Would that be dumb/bad too? I'm not trying to ask stupid questions, if it is im sorry, just trying to understand. Thanks

Offset is not really the important part. Equal tires on different width wheels will have a slightly different OD

You should not run different rear wheel widths for anything more than a couple of days or a couple of hundred miles.

Every rotation places unusual stresses on various suspension components, and the rear tires won't sit exactly the same causing an dis-advantageous wear pattern.

One rear tire would be more stretched than the other, but the contact patch will be the same considering the offsets and tire sizes are the same. Is the difference in weight and rotational mass that will upset your car's balance. Make both sides identical as soon as you can. In the meantime, you can add spacers to even out the poke.
