I have used gorillas and I have Rays now. In all honesty, I like my gorillas better. Rays are aluminum which (I didn't know that before hand)...I just don't like. But, they're baller so fanboys sweat me cuz of'em. I don't like Mutegi. I stripped a pair back in 02. Ain't fooled with'em since.

Muteki is made by Mackin so one would assume they're quality. They are a lower price point, but that doesn't mean they're crap. I just installed a set with my track wheels and didn't notice any scuffs or scratches on the finish after install. I'll see how they hold up after a few removals/installs.

Red lugs in general will fade over time, best to just stick to black or silver lugs which will be resistant to color fade
Mackin is a distrbutor not a manufacturer

how were they trying to get them off??, air impact?
i have always found that using an old fashioned lug nut wrench is the best way to go with stubborn lugs, .......
ballance yourself and then bounce up and down on it.......
or is it the actual tire that is stuck on??? like the lugs are out and you can't get the rims off?
