FI and tires....the hunt for traction!
Looking to change my tires.....I'm at 450whp and have more room to crank up my boost to bump hp to 500+whp.
I tried the R888 but they are super noisy and very short life. RE11 is not available in my country.....I need street tires with reasonable price.....what do you guys think of Nitto Invo 305/30/19 ? If I go with that size in rear which size shall I use in front to match?

id go 265/30/19. not an extreme stagger and almost a perfect diameter match so as not to throw vdc off. Also if you want sticky tires, theyll always have a short lifespan. its a sacrifice; grip for tire life. cant have both.
Also pretty sure this is posted in the wrong section and should be in wheels/tires not FI.

Tires aren't magic, upping the tire size isn't gonna magically increase grip. learning to launch helps ease getting power to the ground.

I have Pilot Super Sports on my DD 370Z and I love them. Much better than the OE Bridgestone RE050A tires. FYI... The Nitto Invo is an ultra high performance summer tire, which is a category step down from the max performance summer tires.
As for your front sizing question... I have 305/30-19 on the rear of my G35 and 255/35-19 on the front. The diameter is within specs for the VDC and this setup worked well for me on a road course track.

Of course the R888 has better grip. But the OP indicated that they were too noisy and that the tread life was too short for his liking. So if the OP wants a more "civil" street tire, the PilotSuper Sport would be a good choice (and a superior choice to the Nitto Invo he's considering).

PilotSport tires are $420 each in my country so it's out of the equation.
Would the 255/35/19 or 265/30/19 be a better match for the rear 305/30/19 ?

305/30-19 a hankook RS3 , is going to be one of the best tires you can get for a combo of wear vs traction. The Invo is a great tire, but you will easily blow them off with your power.

I'm in the same rwhp area and need to decide on wheels/tires.
At what point do you guys think widening up the front width of wheels/tires has too much of a negative effect on handling? emailed Ravspec and asked and was just referred to 370Zs running 11" rears and 10' fronts (I think)
I was thinking of going 19" x 11" on back. prob not much difference between 9.5 or 10" on fronts depending on what wheel sizes are available from manufacturer, eh?

Regarding 255/35-19 vs 265/30-19 on the front wheels in combo with 305/30-19 at the rear... 255/35-19 is the same or within .1" of the overall diameter of the OE front tire fitment (26.1"). The 265/30-19 is signicantly shorter (25.3") and could cause VDC issues.

You know it is the percentage from front to rear , not from aftermarket to OEM that is important right? 265/30 would actually be a better choice do to the 305/30 being shorter than OEM too.
