Default Did i buy the wrong TPMS sensors?

I bought 4 Nissan 40700-CD001 OEM TPMS units from eBay. I have a 2006 Nissan 350z Touting AT. My sensors battery diesdlast year so i bought new sensors. I finally got around installing them and come to find out either my senses are bad or i bought the wrong sensors. everywhere i read that 40700-CD001 are the right TPMS for a 2006 350z. I just wanna say that my car shows individual reading for all 4 tires. I think this feature is unique to 2006 models. Did i buy the wrong sensors? or should i try again with 40700-CD001 sensors?

Not to rain on your parade but it's not unique to 06. The sensors have to be installed on the wheel with tires and programmed to your car. Any legit tire shop can do this. If they tried then you might have bought DOA sensors.

Those are the proper sensors for that year Z. They will have to be learned to the ECM. At this moment it only knows the old sensor IDs. It will have to be done via a properly formatted TPMS scan tool such as Bartec.

Does your '06 Touring show individual tire pressures for all four corners? If so, that is rare. Only the '03 models were known to show real-time inflation pressures for each tire on the multi-use gauge pod. Nissan went with an idiot light after this to show low pressures...

I don't believe the '06 shows the individual pressures. Also, there is a thread about programming TPMS at home w/o any special tools. Did it myself in my '08 several months ago, following instructions in the thread, and it took 15 minutes. Got all new sensors from a seller on Amazon for ~$85. Search and learn.

Sorry if I was wrong about that. Guess it was just the HR cars that got shortchanged on the TPMS system. In any case, you'll still be able to program the sensors yourself, if you follow the procedure properly. Here's the thread:
