I saw these wheels and decided to give them a try.

Primary reasons I picked these wheels are:
1. Budget of around 1000 for the wheels.
2. They had the exact size and the offset I wanted.
3. My stock where ugly and tires are almost done, needed something fast!
4. Didn't want to pay 1000 per wheel for Real HRE wheels.

These cost about 800-900 depending on where you get them from. Their customer service and shipping time was very good. Around 4 days from when I ordered to when the wheels were delivered. And that's from California (where they are) to Florida (where I live). Quality is on par with other replica makers like Varrstoen and VMR, the model I bought UP720 I suspect is exactly the same as VMR710 BTW.

The wheels I got are 19x9.5 ET25 square Setup. The tires i'm running are OHTSU FP8000 255/35/19 up front and 285/35/19 rear, these are the exact same as Falken 452 tires, just re-branded and cost significantly cheaper, I was able to get the whole set for 600 bucks. At first I was afraid the back will be bulged and front will be fine. But after mounting, It turned out to be the exact opposite. the front is slightly stretched, and the rear is dead on. Wheels sit almost perfectly flush with the body line, could use some minor spacers.

Could've got the Enkei Raijins for that price which is a decent wheel by a good manufacturer.

The Raijin also has a lower offset of 15.
Gives more space up front.
Also why are you running a staggered tire setup if your rim specs are square?

I plan to run 275/35 front and 275/40 rear with my soon to have Raijins.

 

Looks good, I probably would have dropped the rear down a hair to 275/35 but ...... Either work fine

 

Raijins only have 35 or 15 offset on 19x9.5 which I didn't like. It also cost a couple hundred more. I didn't want to risk having to roll fenders so I chose these. Also I'm running the staggered sized tires to keep the traction control happy, since these are the closest to the stock sizes, and also ohtsu fp8000 didn't come in 275/35/19's from the vendor I purchased the tires from. Bought square setup wheels because I had another car I can throw these on if I didn't like them.

 

I guess to each his own, I know i'm going to have to roll my fenders, oh well.

By traction control you mean VDC?
Cause that's what's affected if you change the tire sizes far from stock ratio.

No I meant traction control. Both VDC and Traction control depends on the speed input I was told. Since our car came with a 0.8inch taller tire in the back, I will need to pick tires sizes that maintain that stagger. That's what TC and VDC expects. If i run a completely square setup, there will be error in the rotation speed of the tire from what it expects to see, and there may be instances where traction control may kick on when it's not suppose to from that error.

 

Well you see, I don't have to worry about that as I have a base model, the computer won't try to "correct" my driving.

So i'm free to run a square setup for super grip and better feel if I want.

But like I said if it works for you then great.

 

That's my favorite wheel style for the Z, but I can't even find a weight for these wheels online so I'm sure they are very heavy

 

I like your wheels more than the Raijins. Nice choice.

You never know. Bought some 18x10.5 +15 wheels listed as 26lbs and when I weighed them on a digital shipping scale, came in at a nice 22.

Thanks for all the compliments! Just a small update. It's been about 400 hundred miles. I have been on the freeway quite a few times, and hit the normal bumps and holes in my neighborhood. There are no vibrations, noises, etc. very quiet setup.
