Just completed 3 days of "tire testing" (see my other post) on the way to meetings and played with pressures:

40 all around on day 1
36 all around on day 2
Today, ran my "usual" 38/36 stagger.

Sticking with 38/36 but to be quite honest, not a HUGE amount of difference according to my Bewtox dyno.

But then, since the tires are still "new" - under 200 miles - and the visibility in the hills has been sh*t, didn't push them THAT hard.

Just another datapoint for the OP.

How do you set them, I do mine first thing in the morning on a garaged car. On my non garaged car I set them late at night (midnight ish ) as long as the car has not been driven in 4-5 hours.

Same as you - check 'em first in garage before leaving to get a baseline, stone cold, but fill at the Chevron station 3 blocks away, not enough drive to even warm up the car.
