Default 370Z OEM Wheel Locks on 350Z?

Hi guys. So I recently bought a set of 370Z Rays for my 350Z and after powder coating them and some spacers everything is perfectly installed with original 370Z wheel nuts.

In order to put a little security on them I got a set of 370Z OEM Wheel Locks (part number 999W2-JT000) which I was told was specifically for those Rays.

So the problem is I can't get them to fit in my 350Z wheel studs!!!

The original 350Z wheel nuts fit perfectly but not the wheel locks.

Is this normal or am I missing something here?

Thanks

What do you mean they don't fit? Is the thread different? Or, are the nuts too large to fit into the recessed area on the wheel? There may be a different set of lock nuts for the base versus Nismo wheels.

The thread seams different which is weird because studs and wheels are OEM 1.25 thread.

They fit perfectly in the recessed area on the wheel.

Thanks

I've got no idea. The thread should be m12 x 1.25 on any Nissan, so if they came in a Nissan bag that's even more confusing.

That is the correct part number. I have a set on my 350z and they fit perfectly on my spacers.

They should fit. I have them on 370z Nismo wheels.

Thanks you all for your answer and help. I'm giving up on this wheel locks.

After many tries, I couldn't get any of them to properly fit. I even damaged a stud due to the forcing it to fit.

I changed that stud and now I'm ordering a new set of locks from an aftermarket manufacturer:

Thanks you again

I've never seen the 370Z wheels off a car, but do they have a flat or tapered seat for the lug nuts? The Rays/Nismo LMGT4 wheels on my '08 have tapered seats.

Then it's still a mystery as to why the Nissan locks don't fit.

Those locks have been known issues even when trying to install them on 370's

This should explain:

What intrigue me the most is that the actual "shape" of the wheel lock isn't the problem.

What really make them not to fit is that the thread don't seem correct even though they are OEM Nissan 12mmx1.25 (as the original wheel studs are)
