Default 225/45 R17 Front 235/45 R17 Rear - TCS issues?

I'm trying to put Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my 2004 Enthusiast. They don't come in the stock tire size, 225/50 R17 and 235/50 R17, only with the 45 profile, 225/45 R17 and 235/45 R17. Trying to keep this tire purchase under a grand so new wheels are out. Will I experience TCS issues with this tire ratio? Anyone have experience with this? It seems keeping with the stock tire size I'm very limited to all season, lower performing tires like the Bridgestone - Potenza RE760 Sport, Bridgestone - Potenza RE040 or Michelin Pilot AS/3. If the super sports with the 45 profile will work without TCS issues I'll go that route, otherwise I'll likely settle for the RE760s. Had two blowouts on the RE040 and they're overpriced, so no go there. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Yes, you will have have issues, you need to step to 245 rr.

I put on 760s and have not been disappointed on the daily.

Your speedometer may be a little off but I don't think you will have problems with your TCS. I've ran multiple combinations with only 10mm difference in width (>5mm difference in height) between front and rear and never had my SLIP light illuminate under hard-driven conditions.

Those are within the +/- 3% golden rule that's been established anectdotally so I think your TCS will be fine.

Hmm, what would the board consensus be? 760 Pole Positions like JHC recommends, or go for the pilots with a xxx/45 profile on the stock Z 2004 enthusiast wheel setup for the step up in tire performance? I live in Cali fwiw, can rock the summer setup year round.

An update: I went for the pilot super sport, 235/45 and 225/45. No TCS issues, just a solid increase in traction and handling.

At under $600 installed, they were cheaper than the AS3's. Can't go wrong there as the super sport is a far superior performing tire. Super happy with this setup. Way better also than the RE040s that came stock.
