Tire question about new wheels I bought
I just bought a set of used 19" work vs xx wheels for my 03 g35 coupe. The guy I bought them from had almost no information on the wheel specs as they were off a car he bought and he did not seem very knowledgeable. I've been doing a bunch of reading as I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to all of this but I believe the specs are
Front: 19x8.5 E+40
Rear: 19x9 E+42
And I'm wondering what size tires would be good/ideal with cost in mind for the fitment as I'm a bit confused with what to go with. I have some pics I've attached if these are of any use. Forgot to mention the car is at stock height and the guy sold the wheels with four 114.3 5 bolt spacers
Thanks

What size are the spacers (width)? Depending on how you like the wheels to fit, you will need to run AT LEAST 20mm spacers for them to look decent; but not much more otherwise you run the risk of taking out steering feel due to scrub radius issues.
But never mind the techno jargon, suffice that those Honda-size wheels should not be run without spacers on a Z, offset is way too high and the wheels/tires will look like an infant in a full size tub....sunken in and "small".
Tires.... 245/35-19 Front and 275/35-19 Rear

Thanks for the response, I have the wheels and spacers at work right now so I'll measure the spacers tomorrow however I do believe they are actually 20mm spacers
G35 coupe can take more aggressive fitment than 350Z AFAIK
I like offsets of +12 F & +10 R on 350Z
that said at least single digit on G35 coupe so i would want + 0 F & R and those offset you have are too high and 5 x 120 not 5 x 114.3
anyways even with 25 mm spacers your looking like sucked in

Uhhhh, did I take a wrong turn and end up in the BMW forum somehow?
EDIT: Ooooops, just saw why you said that... ooops. Maybe those "spacers" are 5x120 == > 5x114.3 *adapters*....one hopes.

I have g35 coupe as well, 19x8.5F+27 & 9.5R+24 & went with tires sizes mentioned above cuz I am not a fan of stretch tires. Had to use 20mmF and 15mmR to get the flushness I want.
Had a $100 rebate at the time for a set of Hankook evo2 so great deal!

Sell those wheels and get wheels that are correct offset(+12-22, stock is +30f +33r) and 5x114.3. If you have to use adapters then you don't want spacers with the adapters. That sounds like a recipe for disaster. Next time, if you're not sure, come here and ask before you buy wheels you know nothing about.

Wellllllll, those 40+ offsets need a big spacer, right? Bolt pattern adapters are usually 25mm thick so if they ARE *adapters*, it could still work.
Why, no, I wouldn't do it; but the way I look at it, if one has to use them to fit those wheels, the 25mm taken off the offset of those wheels make them +15 and +17, so what the hey.
