I have a question for you. I like the 34 offset cuz of the lip...I think it looks great. One thing i like about the 22 offset though is that the wheel is closer to the edge. Is there a way to get the lip and get the wheel a big out further? 12mm is about half an inch, is there like a half inch spacer plate that i can use or something?

They do have spacer plates available. however I dont know if its wise to use them.

If you want the wheels to stick out as far as possible, then get the 10.5 + 22. Then you will have lip, maximum extension, concave spokes but you WILL have to roll the fenders.

I would have gotten 10.5s, but I didnt want to roll my fenders. There are problems associated with rolling fenders if you dont spend the 300 or so bux to get the fenders done right.

+ if you get 10.5, you have to spend more on tires. I have 275 rears and it barely covers the rim. If you get 10.5s I reccomend getting at least 285s unless you enjoy scrapes on your 700$ rims

For this reason I went 255*35 on the fronts. MAximum sidewall protection and perfect fit. Why are people going 245 on front 8.5 TE 37s? especially when our car understeers.

Hey Julien...Finally got em on! They look nice...love em.

I've seen a few Te's that needed the drop after the installation but yours looks awesome with or without it. Maybe it's the black on bright wheels contrast.

Damn it I want wheels now!

You are right. It is not begging for a drop like some cars so I am just going to do a baby Eibach drop. No more than 1 inch. I dont think I will be scraping more either because I can definitely tell that the car is riding higher off the ground nowwith these big *** wheels. Thanks for the compliments. I drove by a couple bars lastnight on my way home from work and I was definitely getting looks. It was either the wheels or my girls panties which happened to be shut in the door crack!

The 350Z definitely begs for big wheels with these damn oversize fenders so get your 19s everyone. You wont be sorry.

Antoine, I look forward to seeing some fat rims on your car in conjunction with that VS lip!

I am just glad now that I can be a pimp like Andy in his BlueBatmobile(TM)

Jules says to Bat sheepishly "okay! okay!"

I'm praying that the ride of 19's is a little higher than normal like you said. I'm planning on doing a baby drop a la eibachs when I get the wheels but I keep having horrible images of my Z donating it's VS lip to some steep driveway!

jules i think you visited my thread 'blacked out' so its time for me to return the props! looks amazing! had i been not so fixated on black/gold i would have done exactly what you are doing. . . .
hey, i use spacers on the rear and it looks really great, you might consider it! (im told its not good for the front, becomes skittish and changes the steering geometry too much)

yeah, i need to do a blackhousing and hey, so should you!!! im gonna blackhouse AND bat overlay! HECK, SO SHOULD YOU!!!
actually since you are going with the balck/chrome colorway, i think you just need to smoke the sidemarkers and just keep the headlamps the way they are, it seems you've removed the amber strip, very nice!!!
whats wrong with a chain license plate anyway??

Thanks for the compliments. I did not remove the amber strip though. The photo just made it look like I did for some reason.
I already have bats smoke sidemarker overlays. I just have to get off my butt and out them on!

right on! im not usually one to intrude but i personally would take the volk stickers off! i know they have a nice graphic element and cachet (i have the exact same wheels BTW) but personally i prefer the wheels speak for themselves visually. well, you're talking to some goofball who has obsessively blacked out every single bit of chrome element on his car! dont be surprised if i get bored and start bronzing all the chrome interior bits too. egad. i am a chump.
you took the better route! i love how you wheels match the door handle finish. if it were me i'd get the tailpipes finished to match. . . . . . .

Bingo! Yes sir I do ntend to take those stickers off. I consider my Z as an ambassador for its kind. I want it to compre with other more expensive sporsts cars and stickers on wheels just dont work. Many like them, so no offense, but I think they are a tad ricey. They are gone as soon as I can buy /borrow a heat gun or hair dryer!

Anyone wanna buy some used TE37 stickers???
