Question 19" wheels from my eclipse, put on the Z?

I have some 19X8 Konig Imagines. I'd like to put them on my 350Z to see how they look. I called discount tire and ask if they would fit, and he said no. I looked on their website and it looks like the offset (45mm) would fit. So maybe the guy was just wrong or didn't really know??

Here are the specs:

19X8 5-114.3 45

(5 lug, 114.3mm between lug holes, 45mm offset)

Should I just try to put them on anyway?

The tires are 225/35/ZR19 Yokohama Parada Spec 2's. I'm sure I can put bigger tires on there, but these will have to do for now(if they fit of course). Or maybe I should just sell them. Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks

Just sell them. Even if it fits it wont look right at that offset.

I work for American Racing, we distribute Motegi, Epic, TIS, Exin, Riax and ARE wheels.

The Eclipse and Z have the same bolt circle. The 8" width on the eclipse and the Zed have the same offset requirements on our wheels, which is 40mm.

Your wheels would bring them into the car an additional 5mm, which isn't much. I suggest a test fit, only then you can be sure if you will be satisfied.

Why did you get the 45mm offset for your Eclipse? Were you satisfied with how they looked on there?

That's the size discount ordered for me. I didn't really know a whole lot about offsets when I purchased them. I think the wheels looked good on the eclipse, didn't look like they were too far in.

yea, if it doesn't look right, that's what I'll end up doing. I'd like to save up for some better wheels anyway. Maybe some TE37's or something.

Yeah, you will need about 20mm spacers, but still whats the point? Those 225s are going to make the car handle like crap. The stock rears are 235 at a minimum, and we all know they need to be larger. I would just sell em and then get somthing that fits without spacers and that are wider.

Hah, i missed the tire sizes the first time through....I would definitely not put that on the Z, especially if you have VDC or Traction control. It will be thrown all out of whack.
