Tire choice is completely dependent on your budget. Discount Tire has the best prices here, try reading reviews on Tire Rack.com, I run MPSS all seasons in the Southeast.

I have run different brands and different types of tires on my 350z over the last 16 years. If you want A/S tires, I recommend Continental Extreme Contact DWS. They are quiet running and provide reasonable handling for an A/S tire. Of course they will not perform like a Performance Summer Tire, but they will get you around in cold weather and handle ice reasonable well.

^^^ Second the above. My son also has the above tires on his car. They seem to handle East Coast weather just fine. Ignore the people suggesting black and round. I strongly prefer ones that are black and roll.

I wouldn't take advice from me for all season tires

I am using the Nissan 350Z L350 2.5 2006 with different tire brands for more than 10 years. The choice of tires depends on your budget, as well as your preferences. However, now that it's summer, I recommend choosing Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS or Continental ExtremeContact DWS06, which are summer tires for high performance, and quiet driving.

Have used Continental DWS tires on my Z for the last 5 years. They wear well and clearly much better than the OE Bridgestone's that wore quickly and were noisy as hell. BTW, General Tire is owned by Continental.

You didn't mention what wheel size, but I have 17" and yesterday had put a new set of Continental DWS6 in the rear. What a difference in the noise. Happy as a camper so far. And yes, they are round and black.
