Default 285's on 9.5 wheel?

Hi everyone. I just found the wheels I am going to order. ADR M Sport. I will have 18 x 8.5 up front and 18 x 9.5 in the rear with ????
I know a lot of you have 275's in the rear and I was hoping to go a bit wider with a 285. The offset on all four wheels is 35mm. Will the 285's pose a problem? Thanks for the help. Oh I will be running Toyo T1's all around, I got a price of under $2200.00 mounted, balanced, delivered for all 4 wheels, 2 245 40 18's and 2 285 40 18's. I thought that was a great price.

285/40s fit a 9-11" wheel. 9.5" will be fine. The tires you suggest will also maintain the stagger. I would want a little more offset however, maybe +25mm front and +30mm rear.

I agree. I would worry about the +35 if there are Brembos on the car or if a big brake upgrade in planned for the future.

I was checkin out my tires a few days ago.

285s will be fine, I think I may go up to that size if the cost isnt too much different. but more importantly, i plan to go to a 255 front. I think itll help with understeer, and it certainly looks like it could take a wee bit wider of a tire than the 245 I have.

be careful on those 255 up front it will probably require spacers to prevent rubbing issues on anything above 245

my offsets are extremely safe(not really by choice, just what was available and I didnt know anybetter) I think the 255 on the 35offset would be ok as well.

I thought I remember someone running 275's in front, dont remember if he had to roll the fenders or not.

I have the performance model, and don't plan on a big brake kit. So, is it safe to say the 285's will fit with no problems on my rims?

Well, I have some 275-40-17's in the front for autocross (offset +27) and I have no clearance problems whatsoever. There is A LOT of room in the front fenders of this car. The rears have even more clearance. I don't think that a 275 would cause a problem at all, though offset does play a part here.

Where did you find these at? I'm looking at getting the same rims in the future. The use to go for about $800 on ebay, but I can't find them anymore.
